    Absolutely. The UAE crawled along until the batting PP.

    Even ticking over Joyce and Porterfield should easily overtake the RR.

    Reminds me of a school game I played in a long time ago.
    I bowled a ball that went straight through a gap between middle and leg stumps.

    They had not been set up properly.

    The danger with that tactic is - lose a wicket and the new batsman is under pressure immediately to score.

    I am not watching this live but following on Cricinfo...... Has the pitch conditions changed under the lights or what??!!

    Unless Ireland are backing themselves to score about 100 in the last 10 I can't understand what they are trying to do here

    Both appear to be batting like they are facing Mitchell Johnson and co

    To be fair,we have always struggled with the ball, but yeah it was bleak watching the last 10 overs of the UAE innings.

    Don't understand the pessimism. As the graphic showed they were 80-4 we are 88-2 at the same stage. I'd fancy us all day to accelerate passed their run rate too in the later overs.

    Chip away and don't give up easy wickets and we'll win cosily in my book.
