England wise to madigan s kicks

Pity his own team mates don't appear to be expecting them at all....

    Clearly forward from D'Arcy.

D'Arcy killing things, hard to blame for that knock on though.

Has Madigan been that bad? His kicks have got us territory and he laid that on a plate for Henderson

We keep isolating ourselves, were were lucky in that move not to give away a penalty with Jones holding on.

That was a nice set move but the clunkiest execution I've ever seen between Conan, Marmion and Madigan.

Are they playing hot potato or rugby?

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,607 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Madigan has been the least bad of the backs, except maybe Earls.

I don't know if D'Arcys feeling pressure or what but he doesn't look comfortable at all

Is Cronin playing hooker for England? :pac:

Decision making at 10 and poor quality of passing across the backline killing us. Unfortunately this is our starting 10 for the Italy game... :(

Saxon tight head again binding on the arm pit in front of the assistant ref

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,607 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Did the ref tell Dickson he put the ball too straight????

Earls is the only back to look decent so far.

Beautiful pass, alright. He does tend to be trying things a bit more than usual. The spin in his own 22 leading to the blockdown, 3 grubbers around their 22 now in the opening 30 minutes. Calm it and keep possession. We're doing well up front and have monster carriers.

Absolutely. Madigan doing nothing for his chances here.

I think he is doing ok. Few mistakes but he is trying to bring guys onto the ball on the gain line and he is making his tackles. Chance off the tee now, important he takes them

There's really no argument to play D'Arcy next week. Just like ROG before he retired, experience doesn't compensate for poor form.

Fair enough to give him an opportunity tonight because he has a lot of credit in the bank.

Saxons nearly away there......lucky they were caught crossing.

That last pass was crap though, although not helped by D'Arcy.

Is there no bar in Cork? Crowd look miserable and freezing.

Probably right and he hasn't even done much since his half break in the opening minutes. Looks sharp though. Marmion, Madigan, D'Arcy, Jones....none doing particularly well.

I think with the spin he thought he had less time than he did but i don't think the grubbers were particularly bad decisions

I don't think any refs penalise for binding on the arm anymore
