Saxons nearly away there......lucky they were caught crossing.

If there wasn't crossing then he would have been tackled ;)

Is Cronin playing hooker for England? :pac:

Why has he made a 30m beak?

Madigans beard makes him look like Conor McGregor.

This Pennell fella is a very good player. Been a near flawless performance in a fullbacks duties.

No protection again. We are arriving at the gainline too slow.

I think with the spin he thought he had less time than he did but i don't think the grubbers were particularly bad decisions

There are loads and loads of examples of it. Look at Jones on the crash there a few minutes ago, he had absolutely no one around him. That should be used as a dummy runner every time, instead he was left to crash with little support, and by the time we got there we were a split second away from conceding a penalty, if Marmion had been slower we'd have lost possession and 30 yards. Madigan just needs to be better at using the ball in attack, it's been the case all year.

I don't think any refs penalise for binding on the arm anymore

Yeah but just after I wrote he said it to the right head to stop and he proceeds to again bind on the pit and nothing from the ref!

Why the hell not call a mark there?!

We're not being active enough in the tackle and our support / clean out is terrible.
There will be harsh words at half time

I thought the opposite, the Jones run was timed well and gave us front foot ball

Why isn't Madigan calling the mark.

Anytime Robson mentions Ulster or makes up a nickname I'm gonna drink. 2 birds 1 stone

Poor from Madigan not to call a mark there.

Ah Madigan.....you have to get touch.

Poor kick from Madigan. No excuse not to go for touch.

Madigan is playing himself out of the ten Jersey against Italy.

    He tried to wrap IMO.

But what a daft attempt at a tackle.

    That's fine.

He got that badly wrong anyway McCarthy.

Lucky to escape a card. May be concussed.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,212 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Came off second best in his own tackle but at least he was showing some intensity.

I think he leaped to his feet to try and pretend he was fine.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,632 ✭✭✭ssaye2

    Bollocking coming up

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,636 ✭✭✭✭Tox56

That was a harsh pen, it had minimal impact on the ruck although it's something I wish refs would penalise more generally

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

That second row for england has a curved back, does he?
Poor missed touch from Madigan, far too casual, he has no grasp on this game.

    3-11 half tiime.

Very disappointing. Wolfhounds look as if they haven't played together before. Very careless stuff.
