    Earls electric. Straight back in as if he were never out of the game.

    Yeah he looks in great nick. Though himself and Fitz* are both fit at the same time, I'm pretty sure that's one of the signs of the apocalypse.

    * stomach bugs don't count.

    How slow was the chase on that grubber? Great footwork from Earls to bring play to the 22. Chris Ashton will not want to see that again.

    Dominic Ryan has had a very busy start.

    Thought that alright - was it Darcy putting in a half passed jog across into the frame? Had an opportunity to put pressure on

    It wasn't. Penalty was for holding on. Referee was just giving an instruction for McCarthy to mind his bind when hitting rucks.

    Why do scrumhalves pass the ball to backs who are standing behind where the lineout was? Surely that is the worst place to pass when the player who receives the ball basically has the entire opposition pack right on top of him.

    McFadden gone, ****. He was immense against Wasps so he had a good chance to be involved in Rome.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,075 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

    Conway on for McFadden. Ach McFadden was great last week.

    You would imagine that the injury barrier for substitution in this game is very low though. Anything close to an injury for anyone likely to be involved will see them hauled off.

    Wouldn't worry too much.
