I've put on nearly a kilo since Sunday Carbo loading lol I'll lend it to you when I'm done with it :)

You must be one of these people that can put on half a kilo eating a grape!

Aye I'm back on the bike now hopefully.

You won't put on any weight cycling! Cardio just burns calories but doesn't really build much muscle. I lost a stone last year in 2 months cycling, and eating a lot as well. You need resistance exercise i.e. weights, to put on weight. Assuming you want to put on weight...

I'd ideally stick on a stone.

Weigh about 10 1/2 stone now.

I had to give up dairy recently and although I'm getting much healthier since I did the weight is melting off me. And I miss cheese so much. Any ideas for gaining it back that won't cost a bomb? I ate peanuts for a week solid but that wasn't the best idea.

All this talk of training is making me depressed.

Injured my neck/shoulder 6 weeks ago and haven't been able to do any upper body training since. Heading to the physio tomorrow to try and get a start on getting it sorted but I've lost a power of mass I worked hard to put on :(

I know them feels. I broke my collar bone and when I started back doing physio and rehab I noticed my trap had pretty much all but disappeared, all chest muscle gone too and I now have proper bingo wings! Feels like a year of work gone.

However, even after just a few months of physio and back gyming for the past two weeks you can see it coming back very quickly. Half the battle is getting the form back and flexibility.

Not really I've a very regimented diet though, that doesn't include pasta or potatoes, so when I add them in, the effect is noticeable.

If Australia win (and they've good odds) they have to host it somewhere in Europe.

The broadcaster would but I can't imagine thousands of tourists descending on Dublin for a week doing much harm to the economy

No interest in football, but FC United of Manchester really look like they're going about it the right way! http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/32787590

The Eurovision voting is some of the best entertainment about. Terry Wogan has finished up doing the commentary on it, but Graham Norton did a decent job last year.

The music isn't the show. I'd rather have had an Irish vote in to keep an eye on on Saturday.

Also, www.drinkaware.ie, but an excellent game to play when in the company of many Europeans is the "drink for your points" game. Watch the voting, and every time your country of origin gets points, you must consume that many seconds/fingers whatever. We played it in Edinburgh and the game was entirely lop-sided, unfortunately both ourselves and the Scots were pretty dry and the poor German girl had to go home early. The Greeks at the party had a ball though!

Democratic duty done. Polling station seemed a lot busier than I'd expect going on previous elections/referenda for that time of day
