    Just as a matter of interest how many rangers have we posting on the thread? selection failure rate for the unit is something like 92% I remember reading that somewhere very few have ever made the cut it's in the hundreds..

    Just as a matter of interest seeing as there is so much military experience on this thread by the sounds of things.

    How many who have seen the video of ye police officer being shot in the head while lying on the ground actually believe that an Ak47 round (7.62) @ a mere 2 ft would leave a human head totally intact with no blood around it??

    Apparently it does, are you sayin its a conspiracy!? NWO! Triangles everywhere!

    That said tho i thought there d be a splat, at that range but then again i know **** all about guns and that expectation coulda been influenced from movies!

    yeah the auld AK 7.62 x39 tends to make a small hole on the way in and a bit of big hole on the way out ..... they say its great for clearing a blocked nose..... you wont be needing Sudafed after one of them

    I'd say he missed and the Officer died of the other wounds he received. I've watched a lot of execution/combat videos and peoples heads usually lose form, shatter and split around the exit wound, also usually a lot of blood, a big bullet like that would make a mess.
