    The car was frozen when I went out, now there is a rain/sleet/wet snow mix falling. Should make driving in the morning interesting if it freezes !

    Yeah,they're essentially part of an occluded front,if what I saw on BBC news 24 is correct,that dynamic would aid their journey
    There's a light westerly here,I'm quietly confident due to local terrain, and the current temp profile,that if they do make it to Arklow,they will fall as snow
    The breeze is coming directly down from a snow capped area due west of the town that rises to 2000ft asl

    Currently only three of the nra road weather stations Have sub zero air temps,Dromad up in Leitrim and Arklow and Baltinglass in Co Wicklow

    Good news its only 1.7c in sligo

    Bad news its lashing rain

    Sleet over most ireland on netweather app apart from ni

    It does tend to turn to snow between 6 and 9am

    Could be another haily morning

    Monday to me looks like mostly rain but not allowed say that here
