2 games in one weekend could of been planned a bit better but good to see new blood we haven't seen much since jimmys first panel.

Being a Cork man stuck across the county bounds I don't get to many games anymore so may just pop along. The novelty factor too of playing 'them' in the small ball.

I hope you're right but with shorter posts. when he gets on a roll some of them are longer than the match itself. Saying that, he does add great colour to the season:):)

Those are the team sheets with a few changes. Lehane or Harnedy didn't tog out. Was impressed with nial Mac again. The man is a warrior, had Shane o Neill in a good bit of trouble first half. Can't comment too much on the performances as the conditions were bad but haughney showed well for cork at midfield. Cashman at wing back was good and Alan cadogan got some nice scores for ucc. Dan Kearney was taken to hospital with a hand injury.

Did Mickey Breen play for UCC, NO. 11, and if so how did he go? Cheers.

That I'm not too sure of I'll be honest. William egan looked assured enough at centre back for cork though. They were trying to utilise paudi o Sullivan in a playmaking capacity which worked in spots but I'm still not sold on his fitness levels. Early doors admittedly.

looked like as fish out of water which given the conditions wasn't the best sign.

Saw Daniel Kearney afterwards near the dressing room area and he seemed to be in serious agony so I'm thinking the injury will be bad news

Very hard to judge anything today. Alan Cadogan very good. Cormac Murphy also done well. IMO paudie done well along with Egan.

I heard Michael Cahalane got the all clear to return to hurling. A year of non contact rehab this year as he hasn't been able to any sort of exercise and will be back hurling next year. Great news for the young fella, regardless if he ever wears a cork jersey or not.
