    Heard that song before :D
The script writing that I am getting is the viking death/funeral prayer.
It was said before a viking departed his land to go to battle or at a funeral.
Here it is in the 13th warrior

That's F'n brilliant!! I'm on a bit of a Sweedish/Norwegian/Finnish cheese metal fest at the moment so that's right up my alley.

That's more metalcore than death metal. Also, Weird Al does a much better version of the song.

Never got into children of bodom. Furthest I'd go with that kind of music would be cradle of filth.
In saying that I'd listen to a chainsaw cutting a tree ( meaning I'd listen to anything) :D

Can never take Cradle of Filth seriously since Black Books :pac:

That would explain my difficultly in finding a youtube clip. It's been a long day.

    Sleep? I'm still in work!

Yeah, I felt awful for her. She's being treated properly now, but it took a hell of a lot of fighting.

Thank god she got the diagnosis, it makes all the difference in the long term.
I'm still crippled with it and moving on to my third consultant!

    How are you feeling today?

Mental busy today myself, brought himself to get his provisional licence, home to put flyers out for summer camps we are running for kids in work, out to nana's for the afternoon, home to clean my car inside and out, then dinner and relax! I'm in a hoolahoop!!

Third?! Hoky god. I have PCOS, which is really bloody painful (no pun intended!), but I've heard endo is much worse, you poor thing :(

I'm still exhausted tbh, but trying to deal with it by going to bed earlier. Saw the bf today for a while, he's being insanely supportive, and says he'll have his room ready for me when I come over to his on Sunday after work, in case i need to go to bed early :)

Whoa, that's a busy day! Mine was fairly sedate. Went for a run in the morning, did my mam's shopping, saw himself, went up to visit my little sister in work, then home, dinner, playing a gane oof cards atm, then sleep

Yeah, first one diagnosed me and then moved me on to a different doctor who was a specialist as she felt she wasn't able to do anymore for me. Second one did the op and discharged me without so much as a 6 week check up post op. So going for a third, here's hoping three times a charm!

Hopefully a relaxed couple of days will help! I've a calm weekend ahead, lunches and hurling matches is about it!

Anyone here ever been to Aussie BBQ and if so, what does the crocodile/kangaroo meat taste like?
Considering it as a second meet-up venue with a guy I met on OKC. :/

Aussie BBQ is quite nice. Kangaroo is lovely. Don't personally like crocodile, find it too chewy.

Wouldn't really rate it as a date place though, tbh.

Forgot to add - I'm delighted your date went well! I'm assuming it did, since you've secured a second :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,971 ✭✭✭Orim

Congrats on the second date. Aussie BBQ is good but I'm not a fan of kangaroo. Didn't know they did crocodile, must try and get in for a try. Their pulled pork is delish.

Madness. Great place to chomp down on some hot meat before you... :pac:

Also they'll put the meat in a box before you... :pac:

I'm curious about croc or kangaroo and how it tastes, but something tells me I'll be told one or other tastes like chicken. Nearly everything exotic seems to taste like chicken to some people!

Nah, kangaroo is quite gamey. It's very nice.

Crocodile. I dunno. Just tasted like chewy crap. Reminded me of rubber tbh, with a kinda vague fishy taste.
