The Saab B204 is another engine capable of taking massive power increases. Some mad lads in sweden have engines pushing 700bhp.

I've a b202 engine and a b235 one, both are fairly capable of high gains, the 202 more so though, no skool like the old skool ;)

Got my exhaust back today too, gona attach it when i have time as I'm back to college and time has all but gone already :o

If you want power then japs and turbos is the only way to go.
Easily accessible, cheap and some great cars.
Plus it's a road well walked so parts are cheap and plenty know the routine.
When building up that s14 we found all the info to do it ourselves online. 8 drift days later and still not a glitch!
The sr, jz and rb series engines love tuning and take mighty trashing! Plenty of jz's running 450 to 500 on standard internals!

The only problem with jap cars is the stigma attached to the jap scene as a result of the actions of a small few. It puts me well off, although now that the small few have decided that molesting a vag is better than a civic, I could perhaps be swayed, if I ever found a need for more power. And if I was looking for a jap car, I'd probably go down the Cian Ryan route and get an mx5 and let him tell me what to do with it.
Those things are great fun stock, I can only imagine what they're like with an extra 1 or 200 bhp.

Speaking of which I've seen a bit of chatter on fb over the weekend about a bit of a row between 'event organisers' resulting in a burnt out car.

    Scroates.

You're not the only one, saw it myself. That said if it was burnt out, the chap who did it must never rob a bank or shoot someone.
    A) because they failed to burn out the car properly and more just the bonnet
    B) they left the feckin evidence (petrol can) beside the car.

Sounds like the dumbest arsonist in history.
I'm glad boards meets ain't like that...and that Alfa meets are generally attended by people old enough to be my dad :pac:

I didn't have an accident tonight!

Also, the brakes on a sportscar are totally worth it.

Quick random question here, I've asked before but maybe it might be different now, If I was to sell the 9-5 what would be a realistic price? Most of you have seen the work gone into it so like it's not falling apart, couple that with an nct and a bit of tax, what would be a decent price?

Specs? As in year / mileage / engine.

Unfortunately the work you've put in will count for nothing bar with an enthusiast.

    €1500 if you're lucky, I'd say.
The model being cheap is the reason you got to enjoy it yourself so not all is lost. :)

True that :) I'm not selling it any time soon, but I don't want to go looking for something stupid if it came to it

Possibly this weekend but more likely next weekend.
I'm in work 6days this week including the weekend so wont be able to pick her up.
I have a few other photos that were sent on so I'll upload a couple here (ones that are not personally identifiable, since the former owner is in some and I won't put up someone's photo without prior consent_)

Edit: So apparantly I can only add one photo per post, is this new??

Here's how she looked a while ago before the last owner removed all the silly stickers, and also then with a "best in class" prize from a recent show in cork.
