Being seriousnes, it's all a pile of nonsense, sure the blood is near enough the same in these parts of the world, not enough to make a certain area of people ugly and sure would that not mean all those irish yanks are ugly as well

My first boyfriend was Irish Canadian so I am a bit biased perhaps but I think Irish men are pretty hot.

Dark, swarthy men from some of those mediterranean countries do nothing for me.

That thread is gas. The number of 7 -10 self-rated people is hilarious.

Apart from seeing yourself and others in terms of marks out of ten, usually people aren't very good judges of their attractiveness anyway.

The poll refers to looks only, and fair enough there are better looking countries out there than Ireland. The whole picture when you meet someone covers unquantified things like demeanour and humour, friendliness and approachability, so while Sweden might be home to Eric Skaarsgard lookalikes who make a girls jaw drop, it doesn't mean they're all more attractive, which is ultimately more important.

That said, Irish men are unique enough in their belief in their own attractiveness

Well I'm not surprised. A happy, well-adjusted, mischievous fellow is likely to be quite entertaining and therefore likely to get the young ladies' bodices heaving. Wouldn't anyone be quite gay after a snifter of Courvoisier at the opera??

Only 1 in 10 people are considered good looking from a pool of people who are not having much success in the dating department.

I'm not saying only ugly people use online dating, just pointing out that the pool of people was hardly a random selection of Irish lads.
