Definately up there with Wrestling with Shadows as two of the best I've seen. How the forgotten son came in from the cold, and found closure.

    Highly recommended.

Slightly off topic, but did anyone here buy the 2005 dvd? I bought it when it came out. I never took the burying too seriously because it was clearly so one sided. I remember thinking, that the Warrior entrance is the coolest of all time and it making no sense that his peers were dissing it. To those wrestlers that commented it was a pointless entrance that gassed a guy before the match began. But to us the young fans, it was truely superhero like, and larger than life. So i could never see the point of the burying segments in the DVD.

I bought it at the time too. The guys who'd grown up watching him (Jericho, Edge, Edge's forgettable partner) weren't the least bit critical of him really, it was just edited to slant it that way. His peers like Sluaghter, DiBiase and Heenan had very little positive to say though. They never managed to destroy what he meant to the fans of that era though.

The Self Destruction thing was what it was. Words are words, it's up to people whether they believe them or nt, and sadly a lot of people are easily influenced by the words of others.

I watched the documentary yesterday , its great and sad all in one. A few years back i emailed him, just as a fan, he emailed me back a couple of times, and i managed to get a signed figure from him as well as signed photo's which i thought was pretty cool.

He was always going on about owning life which he did. In what almost reminds me of a Jedi, it look like he owned his own death also. He ironed out everything and just signed off.

Watched it over the weekend. Was never a huge fan but should he have been allowed on Raw that night or even taking part in the Hall of Fame weekend. He looked shocking and I wonder did the pressure of that weekend tip him over the edge? RIP to a true icon of the business :(

I watched it last night. It was a very sad documentary. His daughters seemed a credit to him, and seeing his wife and mother so happy for him...it was tough to watch.
