Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's actually not too bad. I just need two headbands for Anime Peter to do his task, and I only started unlocking Tricia a few days ago.

I'm spending all my money to get this f*cking firework and still haven't got it. I might just forget and start clearing the new land instead.

Its a hard app to progress in for free its kind of pushed towards making you pay for clams and coins i think.

Not even close. I have everything except the new land (like others, I spent all my cash on the mystery boxes) as well as Jake and the Brain Damaged Horse.

The only non premium item I didnt get was Peter's clown costume as I didnt realize how short the event was going to be.

Tapped Out is much worse for pushing you into premium currency. Build an office farm and you'll make loads of coins.

Anyone getting any building glitches? I set 2 offices to build today, got notified when they we're complete and they're not there now

Same. Got it last night... now to save the coins and start clearing!

The cheap ones that give $10 an hour and only take 30 minutes to build. I have around 12 of them scattered around now.

The office I went for is Standard Office.

    It's payout is 7xp/h $10/h and payouts out every two hours (14xp + $20).
I have 34 of them plus I have other offices as well but that is my only farm.

I have 57 offices in my farm
    Too many? :pac:

Build 3 more, then you'll have a nice round 60.

My office farm is a bit of an eye sore, it's like Ballymun in the middle of quahog!

New district with 2 new characters and 2 additional costumes. This'll keep me busy :)

A few more characters have been added too, but are unavailable. Really wish I hadn't spent all my money on fireworks and flowers.

Stewie and District 8 Have Arrived! (Updated and Complete)

With new buildings and content, we also get a preview of future characters.

The Freaks and Geeks quests are annoying me a bit. They're just using up time I could be using to collect items for new costumes and there's no apparent goal to make me want to complete them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,478 ✭✭✭✭gnfnrhead

Should have known Stewie was looking a bit easy with clearing the block in one go. He needs loads of items as well as tasks from the two new costumes. Going to be standing there for a while.

They're really pushing for premium buildings that drop items to get Stewie.

After level 3 of freaks and geeks you can't progress until you have Stewie. Feels like it's going to take forever to do it.

For carter I have 9/15 Sugar Packets and 11/15 Fuzzy Slippers! Have what ever else he needed

For Stewie: 6/30 Blueprints, 5/30 Jewels and 0/10 Plutonium.

Been collecting short task during the day and long tasks over night!

    I'm doing the costumes first. Close to Peter. 15, 10, 6, 3 I think.

    Stewie’s Tea Party Update! Complete

With a chance to win Rupert and other prizes.

Unlock Carter today, and visited his facespace posts and the game froze on me, resulting in no quests been prompted from him for me.

I'm not near unlocking Stewie (haven't even unlocked the area he's in), but I seem to be able to do this thing, so that's nice.

On my first try I get Human Rupert and 100 clams for completing the character set of "Characters You Buy".

But he has not shown up in my town yet? Do I have to wait until I unlock stewie to see him?

When I went back in to the game, he was there.

He comes with a free building that can be placed more than once! I think that's a bug (it should have probably been unique?)

Yay, got Rupert on my third box.

Got Faulkner Peter and he takes 12 hours to make. Guessing Brian will be the same. Still need 5 bananna skins for him. No sign of Rupert yet.

Hopefully at some stage you will be allowed to sell items in storage. I currently have 3 Koi ponds, 3 skateboard parks and 5 fire? bush gardens along with multiple fire works.

No doubt I will double up on some more items with Stewie's party quest.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,478 ✭✭✭✭gnfnrhead

I have about 12 poxy skateboard parks! Along with a tonne of fireworks.

It's more annoying in that there's no incentive to place them in your town. They don't actually do anything for the most part bar the few that might have a character task.

Got a response from TinyCO when I requested this feature.

They said that they have no plans to included it at present but would look to include it in a future update.

The boxes are gone for me, but I can still collect the toys. Hopefully I can still get Rupert. Herbert's Ice Cream truck was probably the only decent thing I got.

Need two more banana skins for Brian's outfit.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 937 ✭✭✭Buzz Killington the third

I've decided to dump 50 clams on family jewels, there's always characters that need them so it'll be a good investment.

Comic con event is live now on iOS. Seems to be similar to previous event.

Feck sake. I wouldn't have set my characters on tasks to win toys if I'd known the tea party would be over before their task!

I'm the same. I would have had 14 toys and another chance to unlock rupert.

I didn't realise the party thing would be over this quickly, I guess I was very lucky to get Rupert early.

Ditto, but I did double up on some items I already had, ..... so yeah

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,508 ✭✭✭ShazGV

Only decent prize I got out of the tea party tasks was the Lobster Shanty but I'm not complaining, it was a good one to get. :)

Enjoying the Comic Con update too but I'm now trying to unlock Stewie, Carter and
    Patrick Stewart
all at once, and still trying to finish up Brian's PB & J costume - just a tad overwhelming!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,536 ✭✭✭marcbrophy

    ^^^^

Is Paddy Stewart part of the comic con update? :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,508 ✭✭✭ShazGV

He is! Ahhh, sorry for the spoiler Android users, I just saw that the update hasn't been released yet.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,536 ✭✭✭marcbrophy

Ah there's no need to worry about spoilers, not like it's fair to expect people to remain quiet for a week either :)

So it's Patrick himself, not his Avery Bullock character from American Dad!, that's a person you'd associate with comic con I guess!
