An 'Epic' evening of cooking, not only have I cooked up enough for most of the week ahead I have managed to use up a large amount of fridge contents that were ready to go off (Hubby & I duplicated the shopping last weekend).

    Plus it is delish. :-)

One: Not being able to fall asleep until 4am.
Two: Being hungry whilst trying to fall asleep.

Looks like I'll have to get up at 5.30am tomorrow. But I'd feel guilty if I didn't walk the dog before I leave.

How does that make you feel happy? :D

Do you want that post moved to the trivial annoyances thread, boss?

To see an Irish team overcome the loss of their leaders and put in the kind of performance, that the Irish Rugby team put in today. That makes me very, very happy.

When you get into a new series that has actually finished a few years ago so all episodes of all series are on netflix.

(Though not sure if this is a good thing as it results in watching until the current disappointment gets better - resulting in it becoming 4am before you know it)

Also being able to watch Downton abbey as its shown in ireland and not having to wait for the us/can release !!

Trivial things that make me happy

    1. The joy of my hot water bottle
    2. Also, found my winter hat from last year, and started wearing it again today. Gotta be some good things about winter.

When a woman gets on the DART in the morning rocking a pair of heels to work, and all the other women in their bet-down skechers and converse start giving her filthies :D

How odd... if I was one of the other women, I could only really pity her :D

    I'm probably an exception though

Yeah no, I think most of us would have the same reaction as you...I have never seen a woman give another woman a dirty look because she's wearing heels on her commute, that's bizarre and probably completely imaginary

    Phew.

I'm not a very girly girl, so thought I might be in the minority. :)

Being able to buy clothes in smaller sizes.

I've lost some weight since joining the gym and eating healthily and today I needed to get some more gym clothes as my current gear is getting too big.

I cannot tell you how good it felt to be able to ignore my previous size and reach for something two sizes smaller.

I used to hate shopping; I mean, actually dread it and despise it, because I could never find nice clothes in my size.
I used to go home feeling terrible about myself.

Now I feel great and although I've a long way to go, I'm feeling so confident in myself and I can't wait to shop for nice dresses and things, especially with Christmas coming :)
