Was mata or rooney on set pieces against Stoke?

They both shared them depending on position to the goal although mata did take the majority.

Was mata or rooney on set pieces against Stoke?

Both, Mata took a few but Rooney came closest to scoring with one near the end.
My guess is they will share duites with RVP in there as well.

what about corners did mata take them?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,108 ✭✭✭✭dahat

Ashley Young took ones from the left and can't remember the ones from the other side!

great lads thanks. Diminishes rooney's appeal as he was getting lots of assist points from free kicks and corners and may sway me towards mata over rvp.

Did Ozil to Mata last night before his fall, hopefully none of my players get injured tonight.

I've asked 3 times too. Seems to be no news. Need to know by tonight's price rises ;)

Ok Thanks. Well think I'll rule him out of my potential transfer then. For the moment at least. Will reconsider if he's fully fit.

Yeah yeah I know. I was just talking out loud about my own perspectives ;)

Who you want in? Benteke? If so can you absord to buy him for £0.1m more? He's rising but rising slow. So that could leave you several days to make your choice and know the exact situation re Adebayor ;)

Benteke and Azpilicueta in for Aguero and Vlaar.

Did Ozil to Mata there, could have waited till tomorrow.

RVP and Mata now.... Please, please, please let United hammer Fulham :D

I have both of them since wildcard 2 weeks ago and working out rather well.

Just looking at team for next week and 10 of my likely starting 11 are at home!!

Ya, I've been itching to get Mata in, have had RVP since his return.
Was "forced" to play my WC earlier and it really threw it, if I held on longer it would have saved hits to get what I really wanted my wildcard team to look like.

My differential team is holding out well, but it's not for the faint hearted :D

Am looking at 10 at home myself, maybe 9 next week.
A lot of planning has gone into shaping the team from now till GW30 and I could really do with Chelsea getting knocked out of the cup by City.

Bruce out for Collins, sure starter for .2 more.

Think I'm going to bank my transfer. Ade hasn't performed in two weeks now but I want to give him another week.

Banking will also allow me to start preparing for the madness of what could come in the game weeks ahead.

    Will leave me to play:

    Mannone/Boruc
    Ward Coleman Terry
    Hazard Yaya Mata Lallana
    Suarez Sturridge Ade

    Mert, Noone, Bruce.

My strikers may not score big this GW but I would hope that my midfield will. They all have decent games.

As far as RVP is concerned, with having Mata already and the way United are playing, I don't think it's worth having both.

Ade out for Dzeko for me.

Think City will run up a cricket score at Norwich

Do you think any City striker is sure of gametime though?

That is the only problem I have with the City strikers.

I'm looking at Negredo for the same reason. Think Dzeko is a safer bet?

    Boruc / Manonne

    Williamson -- Bruce -- Terry -- Coleman -- Gabbidon

Lallana -- Mata -- Hazard -- Johnson -- El Hamad-

    RVP-- Suarez -- Giroud

Happy enough for now. Would love to sort my defence but don't have the transfers for it at the moment. Sayin than I had 4 clean-sheets on GW 23 from the above. Terry has been a revelation and is making up for my lack of an Arsenal defender!

With the crazy GW's in mind I will be getting rid of Johnson next week for Miralles. Johnson was a form pick and has picked up 3 great scores for me. Hopefully get the same out of Miralles. Was going to get Yaya in this week but City's fixtures were not that enticing so taken a punt on RVP instead. He will easily be swapped for Kun when he is back. If need be I can swap Mata out for City coverage as well.

My decisions will probably have to be based on what's happening with blank GW'S from now on

Think I need City coverage up front so probably Dzeko in for Ade. I have Silva but he's not doing it for me, worth a 4 point hit to drop him for Yaya?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,224 ✭✭✭✭SantryRed

Made my transfer and brought in Yaya Toure for a short cameo.

Do people think this is worth a 4 point hit:

Current DFs: Koscielny (Pool away), Williamson (Chelsea away), Collins (Villa away), Azpi (Newcastle home), Chester (injured).

I need to play 3 and I'm not confident in Kos or Williamson even getting 2 points. I've planned for a while to remove Chester for Ward, but always had bigger needs. This could be the best opportunity to do so, and if he keeps a clean sheet at home to WBA, it's basically a free transfer. Or should I just start Kos and make the transfer another week?

Collins & Reid the number 1 pairing surely?

Collins is on my radar, but not if he isn't sure of a game.
Barring injury, he starts, was my understanding.

My team is quite solid going into the gameweek...

    Boruc
    Baines - Ward - Evans
    Eriksen - Mata - Hazard - Lallana
    RVP - Suarez - Bony

Bony is in last chance saloon, but even if he gets a hattrick, I''ll probably get rid next week anyways.

I have Evans as a doubt with Sagna ready to fill in. I may just sell Evans but I'm struggling to find a replacement for 5.0.

I have Suarez, Sturridge, and Ade up front and I can afford to replace Ade with anyone so who is the best option? Dzeko, Negredo, Rodriguez?

    You happy with Baines?
I've had him for only 2 GW's but he's on the chopping block for this week. Himself and Adebayor for RVP, Ward. 4 point hit.

That would give me this team for weekend
    Boruc
    Ward - Koscienly - Azpil
    Mata - Lallana - Hazard - Silva
    RVP - Suarez - Sturridge
