I wonder why some got Ballsbridge and some got Sandyford? Ballsbridge would have suited me a lot better than Sandyford to be honest, having said that I'm grateful for the job so I won't worry about it too much!

it is kinda annoying to have to wait for the email with the details for days now ://

It totally is!!! I got the impression that the person who rang me to offer me the job is not a HR person and the email will be coming from HR.. Just wish they were a little more efficient.. Dying to get an idea what the job is like. Plus its weird, dont feel like I really have it until I get the email. Weird I know. Feel better knowing other people are still waiting on their emails tho

Yea I am almost afraid to actually get excited about it until I get the e-mail.

They certainly like to keep us waiting.

How many references did they look for?

    didn't ask for any
( I am not sure if we had to write anything on the papers we submitted on 1st interview)

and still waiting for the email

It will take a week or two before you get your emails, you will need two references, that will be part of the email, they will then do the reference check and give you a managers name to report to afaik

I was thinkin' it'd be odd for no references to be looked for. :)

Oh no, the dreaded references. Not that I'm not worth referring, but my chosen referees either don't know I'm getting a new job (i.e. current manager) or haven't seen or heard from me in a good while.

What is the second round interview like? As in questions? Is it similar to the first round interview?

I applied too and my application status is 'interview' but I haven't heard anything yet! Can you tell me what the interview was like?

  • Registered Users Posts: 7 dan2014

Interview was okay just the usual Q's. Example of where you dealt with a angry customer. What do you know about AIB etc. There was two people interviewing, a man and a woman. Interview lasts about 25 mins or so and it's very much about how you would deal with customers.

I received the Employment Offer e-mail this morning. Now I just have to wait for them to verify my account, as you need to log in to a special platform. Ugh I can't wait any longer!!
