    Have never liked Chang as a character. Just never find anything he does funny, well, bar the John Woo double guns from Modern Warfare in season 1, THAT was tv comedy gold.

    I think the best he ever was was as a psycho Spanish teacher. Shirley is a dud as far as I'm concerned though, I don't think she's ever made me crack up, but then not every character should maybe. You need straight characters as much as any other kind. So maybe Chang isn't meant to be hilarious but just kind of crazy, if that's what works.

    Jeez, yeah. Chang was just the Spanish teacher once upon a time. Crikey, it's easy to forget that. I myself have little patience for the character, and when you take in his arc across the 5 seasons he really went off at the deep end and turned into a ludicrous caricature.
