    Nowhere near in the same league but Murray has also turned into a player who finds that first serve when up against it. Some turnaround from a few years back

    Djok is devouring that Nadal serve for breakfast

    Nadal right back in the set. Novak just gone off the boil. These matches swing back and forth so often.

    The stats have been quite telling. 5 aces for Djok, none for Nadal, higher 1st serve percentage for Djok, Djok has double the winners of Rafa BUT Novak has had twice the number of unforced errors than Rafa.

    Can't help but feel that this should have been Novak's set.

    He had a great chance when facing Nadal's serve to go 3 zip up (2 breaks)

    It should have been but these slow courts do not favour the aggressor .

    Novak just fell away in that set.

    2 amazing rallies in this game. Novak is throwing everything at him but it's still not enough. Consistent, resilient and unwavering play from Rafa.

    Rafa is turning on the style now. Novak is giving it everything but Rafa is coming up with the answers. Looks like it could be getting away from Novak now. He won't go down without a fight of course and the crowd are on his side. They want a 5-setter......

    What a way to cap an incredible year.

    One of the best Slam finals in recent years IMO. Not so much the last set but the first 3 were tremendous. A fantastic champion.
