    Azarenka officially out :(

God, I hope someone beats Maria before the final. I can't watch Serena destroying her AGAIN! And you know this time it's personal!

They've moved Ivanovic/Bouchard to Centre Court and left Sharapova on Ct 2. Okay.

This Brown-Hewitt game is brilliant. Great fun.

It is, I have no idea where Brown is getting some of these shots from. Also because it's a Hewitt match the crowd is way more fun than usual.

Gutted about Vika. This surely opens the door for Kvitova to get to the semis, where she'd probably play Sharapova. I know I'm looking too far ahead here, but if Kvitova showed up then she'd certainly give Maria a run for her money!

Court 1 is killing players with injuries.

Azarenka, Darcis, "Nadal" and Benneteau just went over on his kneee there.

All aboard the Dustin Brown love-train :D

Cillic out now as well with a knee injury, that makes Tsongas route to the quarters a whole load easier. And that whole half of the draw is just getting a bit crazy.

Fantastic result for Brown, I would have liked to see it go to 5, but there ya go ... quality stuff.

Wonder what the problem is? Grass is suppose to me the forgiving surface to play on and yet the players are dropping like flies. Is it that there is only a 2 - 3 week break between the French open and Wimbledon that players are not recovering quickly enough? Maybe the should move wimbledon to the second week of July.

People are slipping it seems so it must be something to do with the surface..

^ Vika said the court wasn't great when she was playing on it, but grass is tricky like that, it can be damp even when it's not raining.

Anyway, great win for Genie Bouchard, although Ivanovic is such a pleb lately I think I'd probably beat her.

Wozniacki went over on her ankle too. Something up with the surfaces. Seems a lot more slippy than usual.

Commentators are saying she is struggling with the ankle.

    felt so sorry for wozniacki..
Both her ankles taped up and she still played on. That takes heart when she evidently wasn't up to it.

Ivanovic, wozniacki and azarenka all out on the same day. Not pleased... :(

Tsonga just through away the second set. He was 30 0 down off his serve and had Gulbis running back off the court to hit a terrible return and tsonga just touched it back to him for a straight down the line text book point.

now he´s getting medical attention too.

With the rate people are dropping out with injuries there might not be a final.. The brits way of getting murray to finally win wimbledon.. :pac:

Jo got his knee taped :(

Think he said if the tape didn't work he couldn't play. WTF is going on? I thought with Rafa gone we wouldn't hear the word "knee" mentioned for the rest of the fortnight.

Really hope Tsonga doesn't retire. Have a bet on over 3.5 sets. :o

And I would like to watch the rest of the match anyway.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,576 ✭✭✭garv123

Must have been over his knee he basically threw the last game in the second set?

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators Posts: 23,931 Mod ✭✭✭✭TICKLE_ME_ELMO

Sharapova just took a tumble too. Same court as Wozniacki. Down 4-1 to Larcher De Brito.

    Is Tsonga injured? Playing bad.

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators Posts: 23,931 Mod ✭✭✭✭TICKLE_ME_ELMO

Shvedova has given Kvitova a walkover now too. 6th (?) withdrawal of the day, so far.

    Is Tsonga injured? Playing bad.

Yeah he injured his knee in the 2nd set, has been really struggling with it since.

    Just retired sadly :(

    Is Tsonga injured? Playing bad.

His knee, He basically threw the last 2 games in the second set and then spent 5 minutes getting it strapped up..

And He´s just gave a walkover...

    7 out now is it?

This going to be such a boring Wimbledon so.

    No Nadal, no Tsonga.

It's going to be between Murray and Fed, and Murray will win it I think.

This entire half of the men's draw is opening up ridiculously now. :(

Its not looking good for sharapova either now so the womens side could open up a bit too now or williams will just walk it. 3-1 down in the 2nd

Shame really bottom half looked really exciting when it was drawn now it's looking like a walk to the semis for both Federer and Murray.
