Funny, I was listening to 60s songs on 94.3 fm this morning, dj announced gold radio. Strong around tallaght and balyfermot. Seems to have gone off now. Is this phever rebranded or testing a new format?

In a way yes, but they still haven't a clue. It's been said here many times about the same songs being played etc... 1025kiss does it for me at the moment. Nice audio and music.

94.3 fm is a funny frequency, no sign of phever on our radio in the office but I get gold in the van.

Both sh/t. Then now and there 30 90s songs on repeat . Should both disappear from the radio and leave it to pros like kiss and retronow

Looks like the pirate code is gone out the window, there’s transmitters popping up on frequencies that other stations are on, 91.0, 94.3 & 107.1

It's more location eg the Beach is a lot stronger in the South East of Dublin yet inaudible in Dublin West.

90s Network is much stronger on the north side. Etc etc

Anyone know what is the story with Retro Classics? Signal is weak as anything, can only pick it up in drips and drabs around the airport, possibly Finglas.

Used to get it as far south as Stillorgan, west to Kinnegad. Best of the dance stations by a mile.

Retro Classics? Do you mean RetroNow?
There not from a mountain site anymore, I notice TheBeach off air so I could pick up RetroNow on 105.7 in Finglas

Whats on the FM bandscan in Dublin at the moment?
Heard that stations on the new FreeDab Mux are to come off the FM Band in Dublin to avail of the service!

The main ones on FM are Phever 94.3, Fresh on 99.5 and Kiss on 102.5. There's also a carrier on 91.0 now a few weeks.

Most of the stations on freedab have been online only for a while now with the exception of phever.
The rest on fm seem to be staying on fm
