I am a guy:eek: I went through a phase of thinking 'sure I can eat what I want at any time of the day cause I go to the gym occasionally' So I turned a corner where I'd eat just one bar or something small everyday but that is after depressing me:pac:

If you can't moderate it then just don't eat it at all, go cold turkey and you won't even feel the want for it in a months time!

My last training session before other life events take over and training has to take a back seat.

    Squatted 170 x 3 x 3 (belt) then dropped back to 150 x 5 beltless.

    Monday I benched 115 x 3 x 5.

So in the last 7 weeks I went from:

    Squat 125 x 5 to a fatigued 150 x 5
    Bench 100 x 3 x 5 to 115 x 3 x 5

By no means strong for my age, body weight and experience but pretty solid progress over that space of time.

I'm the same, it's not been my heaviest but I'm at 82kg now but body fat has come way down and muscle mass has gone up.

In 3 months (including the Christmas period!) I went from 21/22% body fat down to just under 15%.

When I started back in the gym after a 2month break I got my measurements done and then last week I got a second reading of which I was pleasantly suprised! (particularly as its a self prescribed program)

I'm aiming to get down lower but that won't happen until March.

A little bit of self indulgence...

Just did 105kg 10x10 squats with the safety squat bar at 10pm after 5 hours of coaching in 20mins.

Mentally, I'm rock solid right now. Lets hope my body holds up too!!

A lot of worries about everything are generally in your head.

The worse is when you are in the middle of a squat and realise how heavy the weight is.

Not really. Youv'e only got two choices. Bail or man up. In fact that prob one of the least worrying situations you could find your self in.

I'm thinking option three - panic when going down, do a partial squat and hoof the bar up with awful form :pac:

    I never did this though.

Or you could just sit there at the bottom of the squat squealing til someone comes to save you…

Why not just drop the bar? :pac:

Why not just drop the bar? :pac:

It had slid off to one side, so had 2 plates jammed against my neck...
Made dropping it a little difficult!
