I think Tesco will take passports too. My bf often used to get caught out in Tesco as he only ever uses his licence as ID. He's 26 and always gets IDed; I'm 21 and I've been IDed maybe three times in the last six months :pac:

I'm 26 too and always get asked for I.D

Was ID'ed everywhere in America this summer. Was even asked to leave the casino area in Caesars Palace in Vegas as I had forgotten my passport. Was a great ego boost, until I came home and never get asked anywhere :(

I tend to see this happening with guys more so than girls. You might look young for your age, but I could have passed for 18 when I was 15, if I wore the right clothes. Look on the bright side, at least you won't look haggard at 40 like I will :pac:

Thanks pb, but have no garda id anyway. it's ridiculous that they don't take passports, if that's the case. Didn't get asked :) finally getting a little less nervous about buying drink, though i'm 29 now so it's about time!!

I've nothing to do tonight. Got me some wine, thinking about having a soak in the bath too, though couldn't be arsed cleaning it first tbh, so not sure. besides that, nothing. I'll probably throw on something online.

I'm (I think?!) 27, and still get ID'd all the time.

I don't really take it as a compliment, but I sure as hell don't take it as an insult either! Don't really get that mentality.

I usually carry ID on me - if I don't, and I'm asked for it, it's my own fault if I don't get served because of not having it!

Some youngfle younger than me wouldn't sell me wine for my mammy in tesco
    LOL
"you look under 25 I'm really sorry"
    Even I had to laugh
poor guy kept apologising and I was like it's graaaand don't worry about it
    doing his job
under 25 is a bit harsh for a policy though

    Eat ALL of the steak

I still get ID'd for wine in Tesco semi regularly and I'm 33. Tis a bit of a pain in the arse because most of the time it happens when I'm in a hurry and need it for a recipe.

Oh dear, I just watched Tangled for the first time thanks to the recommendations on this thread (it took me a week to download it). I LOVED it. :D
Next up The Princess and the Frog (tomorrow maybe)

The Princess and the Frog was on TV here last week and i loved that too. Might have shed a sneaky tear at one stage. But tbh i watched so many kids movies the last few weeks (Mary Poppins, Wiz of OZ, bedknobs) it could have been one of them. :D

Same here, pile of stuff to catch up on, it's OH's Mums month mind, so he is away to that, and I'm going to use the time to catch up.

Not that I don't want to go to the month mind but the journey is very hard on my leg and he is taking his daughter.

His son is not going as he has exams.

He's just off with my car now for the NCT retest.

Disney films are the best. Especially when I'm feeling homesick/tired/lazy etc etc. I normally don't have enough concentration for anything more complex! Don't know why my hard drive is full of proper movies. Should have filled it with chick flicks and Disney!
