But it is the same thing, its the owners if the clubs prioritising the use of their players.

    Very broadly speaking:

The owners of the French and English clubs prioritise keeping their players fit for the competitions that the clubs have the better chance of winning.
The owners of the Irish, Welsh and Scottish provinces, regions and clubs (the IRFU, WRU and SRU) prioritise having their players fit for international matches.

P.S. 4PP, Thomand this could be something interesting to talk about on one of your future podcasts.

    Yes, ...
Do you think the IRFU's decision to create division between the two parts of the island is in the best interests of Irish rugby?

We now see that no 'A' games or U20 games are played in N.I., there is no attempt to even give a nod in the direction of or recognition for N.I. fans and players apart from the execreble 'Ireland's Call'.

Now we seem to be expected to pay to watch our team while our previously equal brothers and sisters have Free To Air Access in all areas. Imagine the furore that would ensue if it was announced that everyone living in Munster had now to pay to watch while everyone else got it free. The principle involved is so staggeringly obvious on this island given it's history of internecine strife and the superb part that rugby has played in maintaining normality and unity during the darkest days that whoever decided this was a good thing should be sacked.

Qustion 2. Do we now have the emergence of a Republic of Ireland Rugby Football Union and will it be better off without the input of players and fans from Northern Ireland?

Yikes, I think we'll leave that for another show. We've an awful lot to get through this week.

A definite talking point! You're welcome to come next week to express your own views. This deserves a lot more than just a passing mention. As I said if the IRFU have messed this up then they are in for it.

Italy are the surprise package in the Six Nations this week as they dished out some bitter medicine to France. Ireland discovers Zebo and are reminded of Brian O’Driscoll’s class. It’s the usual stuff once again for Scotland.

Dave hosts a Six Nations chatterbox this week as he is joined by Munster fan Alan, English fan Mike, kiwi Matt and our French-Irish compatriot Daithi.

    COMING UP ON THE SHOW:
0.0 – Super Zebo brings life to Ireland
11.00 – England lead Scotland on a merry dany
16.00 – Italian passion on the menu for France
24.10 – France v Wales. Pride is on the line!
    30.50 – Ireland v England. A Grand Slam decider?
49.20 – Scotland v Italy. Will the away factor ruin Italy’s chances?
56.00 – Some Rabo Direct Pro 12 action with Alan
1.02.45 – Lions discussion, who has put their hand up?

The Bet of the Week will be confirmed on twitter and facebook on Friday!
