I've had to water my garden too... hanging baskets dry out very quickly in the warm and breezy conditions of the past week or so...
Having hanging baskets does not mean you have a hanging garden... :D I'll get me coat.

Everything calm in Kilkenny, aside from a few gusts here and there but nothing special.

That rain in waterford/wexford is just a shower. The serious rain from this storm doesn't start for hours yet.

Only if you see them floating past Hookhead lighthouse on the one o'clock news. ;)

On a serious note, tell them to take sensible precautions and they should hopefully be fine.

There's a few short and sharp showers coming in off the sea here but it's still calm for now apart from that, not expecting much here yet.

Looking at raintoday.co.uk it looks as though that shower in Waterford/Wexford was a little pre-cursor to the main event.

I'd say you'll see the rain moving in on radar by about 5ish

First glimpse of the heavy precip just south west of St. Ives, heading for Cork.
    Taken from www.raintoday.co.uk

Of course the Shannon radar is its good old reliable self!

Completely still here in Bray ... eerily so. I wonder if what they say about 'the calm before the storm' is scientific?
