Ooh. Right. One of those 'sound interesting but in reality not' jobs?

Ah no, it's a great job. Hours of browsing the internet and watching tv online, can't complain. Only 17 calls today between like 8 of us so not much work involved! Just I want it to be my weekend now so I'm a lil bit moany about it! :pac:

Haha, it's not particularly dodgy, more embarrassing and crap! Just Love Actually reminds me of this thing so therefore I can't watch it!

Last day in my current job!! Woop woop!! Now to just survive the day without screaming 'I dont give a **** anymore' at the top of my lungs!

I thought it would never arrive :)

(Posting it here cos a friend just posted something sad on Facebook and I don't want to be insensitive by being all happy in their face)

When do eggs go off? At the best before or after? I remember a housemate eating them a month after the best before and he said they were fine.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 684 ✭✭✭Polloloca

You can drop an egg into water to see if it's okay. I think if it floats it's okay and if it sinks it's gone. Or that could be the other way around. Google!

I think eggs are okay for about a month after their best before date, think it's something to do with the time between them being laid and actually brought to the supermarket.

I checked google and did the water test and they're off. I'm just a lazy bitch who doesn't wanna get dressed and walk 5 mins to the shop. Fruit for breaky it is so :p

    Thanks girls.

Other way around! If they float there's a bit of air in them and they're off :)

    I think it's time for a fry!

You know what is really tough to shop for? An engagement card for a friend when you don't agree with sentiments such as "You two were made for each other", "Delighted for you", etc etc. I learned this yesterday, went for one that's blank inside :o:pac:

But but.... it has a glitter toolbox.... :D

I wouldn't have been super impressed with it myself as a child, if it wasn't a make it yourself At-At/Starship/something with lights and noise I was usually just whelmed.

May I present to you http://www.redbubble.com/people/twisteddoodles - there's bound to be an alternative card there to suit every occasion ;)

*link now to the site where you can actually buy the cards*
