PANIC ON!!! I have all my certs, but need to get a copy of my birth cert, which is ok.

However, do I need a version of my CV, Canadian style? A "resume" if you will.

What contact details do you put down on it? Your Irish ones?

Quite possible maybe send USIT an e-mail?:)

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,683 ✭✭✭zweton

Ya drop them an email and see what they say, chancers lol.:)

Can you not just send your Irish version of cv?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,863 ✭✭✭seachto7

If I can, great. I thought it had to be a Canadian "resume" though?

It says this on the USIT application:
I understand that applying for the Usit Work in Canada programme is not my IEC Visa application and that it is my responsibility to book my place on the IEC programme and to obtain and submit all documentation, including Police Certificates directly to the IEC. You will be advised when IEC is open for applications.

The IEC application isn't open yet. Chill out.

Hi all. I know this is probably a very basic question & apologies if I'm asking in the incorrect place but can anyone advise as to if the IEC 2013 application process is open yet? And if so where do I apply? The only place I seem to be able to find is on goforless. Many thanks, any help much appreciated!

"If you read it.. It says it is not the IEC application.. it just a registration to get it set up before the IEC comes out.."

I wonder will they require proof of funds like they did last year?
Was just looking through last years app, i have the pdf saved.

"Possess sufficient funds to cover your expenses in Canada for the first 3 months of your stay"
    (775€ / $1,000 CAD per month)
    Woops, better get saving!!!:D
