I love that scene! Yer wan is struggling to keep her balance while shouting and while holding the two more Irish looking plastic bags.

I might make an animated gif of the slideshow with a mugshot of ted and the 'Not a racist' sign, alternating back and forth

Ted: So, this is a lot more fun than killing yourself isn't it.
    Fr Kevin: I suppose so.
Ted: Thats me and Dougle's job now, we're the smile brigade, NOT the fire brigade, the SMILE brigade.

Dougal: It is, Ted! It's a one! Look! He's going to snaketown!
    Dougal: Wheeeee!

Don't get me wrong, I love and respect Father Ted but it is terribly over quoted here in Ireland. There are people I know who's sense of humour is almost exclusively based on throwing in Father Ted references or quotes. I know the actions of morons isn't in any way reflective of the quality of the show, but it does get irksome. It's like those film critics that don't let go of Citizen Kane. I get it, it was great, but you don't have to compare everything to it.

That would be an ecumenical matter.

"And as for this ........ CABBAGE !" - Len referring to Dougal :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 28 Father Larry Duff

    (on Father Stack)
Dougal: "He's like Hitler or one of those mad fellas."
Ted: "Oh worse than Hitler. You wouldn't find Hitler playing jungle music at three o'clock in the morning."

(Bishop Brennan talking about Dougal and the Black Rock incident)
    Dougal: "They were only nuns."
    Brennan: "Nuns are people too."

For me, it's got to be the episodes with Graham Norton in them.

Riverdancing inside an absolute kip of a caravan and boring the arse of everyone with his tales!

Fr Noel Furlong's screeching competition in the caves

Ted getting a leathering by Richard 'Victor Meldrew' Wilson

And, of course, poor old Larry Duff with his phone!

The "F**kin hell!" quip during the rigged sheep contest was by Graham Linehan himself.

Some quotes from the episode I saw tonight. Night of the nearly living dead

Eoin McLove: Go away......you big dirty pile of old biddies!
Eoin McLove: Go away! I don't want to catch the menopause!

Father Dougal:I'm no good at judging the size of crowds, but i'd say theres around seventeen million of them out there
