I just renewed for $22. My renewal notice in the post was €38:eek:
Ive had the fleece a few times. Its not really worth the extra money tbh.

I pay the cheaper price and usually get the fleece too.
The fleece isn't the best quality and are all the same size so your missing nothing if you don't get it.

if anyone is with Tesco you can use your clubcard wouchers for National Geo, costs €9.50 (in vouchers) and I also got the fleece and oversized map o da world

Have bought it as a Christmas present so will have to think of an interesting way of presenting it on Christmas morning. Maybe the current issue with a note attached.

For anyone that's just looking to pick up single issues...Marks & Spencer's (Jervis St, but probably all branches) sell National Geographic for €2.20; which is mad cheap, as Hogzy said, they are generally around €6.

I haven't got the shipping email yet for some reason. Does it say which issue is first to ship ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12 cokecans

    No, but it does say:

If you've purchased a magazine for delivery to the U.S. and Canada, please allow 4 to 6 weeks for your first issue to arrive. Elsewhere, allow 8 to 12 weeks.

So we might have a while to wait!

Probably worth checking the status on your Order History on their website , mine says Shipped ,not sure if I got the email or not as all their emails went to my spam and I deleted them before I realised.

Btw I hope their customer service is good , I managed to order the subscription twice as I was messing about in 2 seperate browser windows checking prices , both show shipped , have emailed them now.
