I've tried the hot water flush -throught and it worked ok on a couple of them, but not on all. I'll try the alcohol wash on a few. I've got 6 DCCs that need it. They seem cheap enough to buy, but when you add it up...

I didn't like the naturalles......at all. Then again, I don't like any tobacco flavours.

Does this taste like apple from what I read? Might give it a shot next week.

Oh carp!:( I ordered some stuff from them last night. I wonder if I can pay just for a bottle of Eden and they can throw it to my existing order?

it tastes like the naturales and apple.. they work very well together

i found that the naturales or the apple came through stronger depending on what wattage i was vaping at

Just want to give ESI a thumb up. Sorted my order. Very nice to deal with. Communication is lightning fast. And thanks for a free bottle of apple pie:) btw el torro cigarillos smells very nice! Reminds me of one tobacco liquid I was looking for for so long. Will see if it tastes as good.

Ehm... how do you use el torro bottles? Vaping now wingnut's orange ice pop in kanger kr 510 clearomizer. Really really nice!

you have to take the white plastic insert out and throw it in the bin
then you curse a little under your breath wondering why the stupid things are in the bottles in the first place

after that it is handy to have a small empty 5-10ml bottle you can empty some of the juice into, but it's not required.. a steady hand will pour some of the juice from the el toro bottle into any atomiser/cartomiser.

:) thanks. And I was wondering why the bottle wouldn't drip straight from the tip:))) it looks just like the normal dripping tip tho

there are things you can get that look exactly like the white plastic insert in the el toro bottles

except they have little holes on the bottom for syringes.. it's so you can put the syringe in, turn the bottle upside down and extract even last drop of liquid from the bottle
be useful for bottles of flavourless pg/vg or nicotine juice

i guess you could do the same thing with the el toro one (someone here said they did) but you'd have to break a hole in the insert first.

Oh it's ok now. I just put the juice into an empty bottle. Tried to drip it on 510 lr atty but didn't get much flavour. Will wait a bit before I try it again. Maybe it's just my tastebuds. Too many juices tried today:)

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 23,556 ✭✭✭✭Sir Digby Chicken Caesar

    yeah that does happen :)

Was me and I'll never bin them again :)
I use a blunt syringe and find that you just have to give it a hard tap to pierce the top - must be made of thinner plastic than the rest of it. I've never managed to spill a drop of the precious El Toro nectar whereas I've had some absolute disasters with normal squeezy bottles. Not sure how it'd work as a drpper though - don't see it as being too precise.

I just gently pour it into some 20ml bottles I keep around as I need to :)

the bottles cost sfa so worth having a couple around for situations like this, or if I only want to take a small 10ml bottle out with me to drip instead of a 30ml fatso

The joy of 10ml needle tipped bottles. Got so many that they're now like lighters used to be - they all go missing for a few days and then mysteriously turn up in the same place at once.

anyone have a list of various parts shops and juices shops and the like? i was just thinking that to have a comprehensive list of as many as possible would be great for new people or even for someone looking for a new shop to get new flavours in.

If there isnt one i'll try sort one out in the next few days

i dont think elbow properly read your question :)

there's no definitive list for mixing
it's buy nic base, buy 0mg pg/vg, buy flavours.. figure it out for yourself

there used to be a few recipes and stuff on the old ukvapers and there is a mixology forum on the new ukvapers.org so maybe there's stuff in there.. but in general it's just.. try it yourself and see what works

    --edit

oh look at that. I didnt properly read your question either

    http://e-cigshop.eu/DIY-E-Liquids

the inawera flavours are what I mainly used when I tried diy.. they were pretty good, I just sucked at diy.

this thread might be of some help although it's mainly just me posting "wow guys i've totally figured thisout" then 2 days later "hrm, why the hell can't I do this properly" over and over again

anyone know the best way to clean out the kanger clearomiser? can i unscrew the bit with the wick and let that drain/dry and just wash out the rest?

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,674 ✭✭✭DirtyBollox

as regards to the kanger above, thats exactly what i did. i took out the piece with the wick and let it drain/dry on some kitchen roll, rinsed the mouthpiece and the tank. i then blew through the end of the tank (the end that connects to the battery) and blew through it to make sure there was no water in it. Seemed to work fine.

I'm only after going and making myself look like a thick, vaping away and couldnt much out of it. checked mouthpiece and checked the wicks were getting the juice and still nothing. tank has 2 mls in it and everything! sat there for 5 minutes wondering what the hell was going on with the thing. i then swapped the DEAD battery out for a charged one

Just dropped a twist and managed to jam the button half way in... if you pretty much stand on it you can make the connection but it's buggered

Having read through this thread I see that this almost seems to be the bible for all things Irish vaping: http://www.vapingireland.com/Home/Vendors

Which would be the best from all these sites or is it like asking how long is a piece of string depending on preference? Perhaps I should keep reading all the threads and I'll find out for myself. I'll be here all day and I've got work to do!

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,674 ✭✭✭DirtyBollox

for a starter then this is the best route to go down.

and yes a lot of it is asking how long a piece of string is. but you can always ask for any helpful suggestions and tips :)
