Arrived today indeed. Was 5double coil cartos and they sent me a free sample of their new e-liquid which was nice of them.

Though its strength isn't listed in mg. it just says 1.6% - is that 16mg or what's the craic?

Anyone know what the deal is with BestECig.ie as far as service?
I emailed them asking if their Dekang was VG/PG or pure VG (got an allergy to PG) and they didn't bother answering the email. It's unbelievable in this present climate that a company would just ignore enquires from a potential customer...

Bestshop and E-Cig Ireland all the way - they're the best two Irish stores on the list for professionalism and service.

    EDIT;

Just got a reply from Paul at BestECig.ie.
There was a problem with his hosting server so it wasn't his fault I didn't get a reply...

    Sorry Paul.

Hmmm, of my 3 emails to TBS, only one has been answered. Very quick service apart from that, don't get me wrong.

Too buisy filling jiffy bags Eoin.
I guess replying to inquires is tedious and time consuming. Maby retailers could come on here an answer queries.

Bestshop have always answered my emails.

It hasn't and won't stop me using them - it's a relatively minor quibble. Plus there's all you experts here to answer my stupid questions anyway!

I a have found vapourireland.com really good on service and price even though they have a limited range.
Anyone else had a good or bad experience with them?

Hi tommy2 bad. My name is Paul. I have brought BestEcig (China) to Ireland to retail them in Ireland.I think your point is fair enough so if you have queries I will do my best to answer them as a retailer.

It's not easy running a buisness and dealing with repetive quierys.
Hope you find that being here cutts down on the gereral questions and leaves time for individual problems to be sorted.

Thanks for the welcome. I've been following this site on and off for the last few months. In fact, it was this site I came to, to find out about e cigs so I have a lot of respect for it.. I've been a smoker for over 30 years and now I'm not. That'll do me. So, I know whats expected and I aim to deliver.... Fair prices, prompt delivery, good service and reply to every email...I agree that's not too much to ask for. Sooo...let the games commence lol...

Anyone order from this shower before?

They say it takes 3 days to deliver in Europe and 5 to the rest of the world on their site and I am waiting 14 days (ten working days) and no sign. No response from e-mail sent querying the order either.

Yeah, delivery is pretty slow alright, it'll get to you... flavours are worth the wait though

You can get flavour art stuff from liberty flights in UK...

Just to follow up on this: They responded to my e-mail (sent on the 10th) on the 12th with this response
    Hello,
usually it's 5/7 business days the preparation time, sorry for the delay , we will ship your order tomorrow.
    tks, regards
    paola

The order arrived this morning (the 14th) and everything is in order and packed up nicely. Flavours are all top quality and very impressive as replicas of the real natural flavours they are imitating. Best I've come across yet.

5 to 7 days to put some little bottles in to a jiffy bag?
The flavours may be good but I'm going to avoid them like the plague.

    Hi,
I have been trying to get my 77yr old father to stop smoking for years, but is very stubborn and have tried everything, a friend suggested the e-cig etc and they checked the nicoret one plus the real cheap ones you find in the supermarket stalls etc, and tried them all out then they came across Best E-Cig who are based in Dublin (happy days) and they highly recommended them for the service and quality of the e-cig, I ordered it after the advice from my friend saying it was the best around, I received it 2 days later, and then showed it to my dad.
For a man who has been smoking 63years who is stubborn and doesnt like change, well I thought it would take him a while to get used to it (he smokes about 15-20 a day - B&H) I told him to cut one of his usual ones out ie after dinner and use the e-cig, well to cut a long story short its been nearly 3 weeks and he is down to 3-4 normal cigarettes now and just uses the e-cig, im so impressed and proud of him, yes he is still getting nicotine but not the other chemicals that are in cigarettes.
I cannot recommend Best E-Cig high enough, for the service, quality and price.
Im delighted, I now know what ill getting my family etc for Christmas and birthdays
    :)
    Thank you

These need to be available in shops.
Yep but our pharmaceutical union decided that they should be removed.
Tescos dose them in the UK, I wonder if they do them here, I know it a cig lookalike but it would be a start.
Its amazing that ecigs work, I couldn't believe it myself.

I know some shops in dublin stock the e-cigs but don't anyone in the West of Ireland. I will send an email to the guys i got my 510 off to see if they stock any shops.

Does anyone have a list of the shops in ireland where you can get e-cigs

The first page of this thread lists the Irish websites and usually they deliver next day. I don't know of any shops ( bricks and mortar) that sell them. I know the chemists withdrew them but they would be bound by certain rules of sale being tied to medicine etc...
I remember seeing somewhere that Londis stores was, is, will be stocking them.
Anyway, good question...Anyone know of retail outlets selling the ecig?

Before i put in my order I looked at a lot of sites and the prices for the normal chinese juice seemed to be the same nearly everywhere. The juice i got from foxycig was their premium e-liquid which is made in the UK so to be honest when i am starting i wanted to use the stuff that is manufactured in europe (no offence to the chinese lads).i paid abut €22 for a 30ml bottle. The uk sites like totally wicked seem to charge roughly the same for their uk stuff and i also saw some american juice at around the same price range.

PS they also threw in a sample of stuff called tobacco ice for free so i think i did ok. i haven't tried it yet

PG is PG and VG is VG and nicotine is nicotine. Don't be fooled onto paying over the odds because it says "European" and "Premium". That's just razzle dazzle talk to up the price. Does the Premium have some secret ingredient that the Chinese don't know about? I don't think so. Remember, the Chinese are not the Chinese of old...they are the new boys on the block and the original of the species...Indeed, If it wasn't for Mr.Hon Lik we might not even be having this conversation. I've used Chinese e-liquid ( I wont mention supplier)
for long enough to know that they are as good, if not better than the overpriced Premium liquids...The Chinese liquid is not cheap and the reason it may be all the same price is because it's competitive...

    chinese v's european

I take your point and as I am new to this i will learn as i go along. It is a personal decision to go for juice made in UK and the stuff I got I am very happy with. will i try the chinese juice ? Yes probably. I just have a comfort factor using juice manufactured in the west and the amount of money I am saving being off the cigs easily makes up for the extra i pay for my juice.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,089 ✭✭✭Shazanne

What flavour are you using Wingback?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5 wingback05

Started on the premium regular tobacco as i am new to the electronic cigs but the guys i bought from threw in a 10ml of tobacco ice free when i got the kit and i only tried it last night. Very nice. Seems to be a mix of tobacco flavour and menthol. gives a great throat hit and a nice aftertaste

Can someone recommend a starter package for someone who is moving to electronic cigarettes off of E-Cig? The Flavors etc because I dont know where to start.

The irony here is that the Chinese guys have this thing down to a tee. I've seen pictures of their factories and they are state of the art. It's a pity really to see vendors charging premium prices to supply something based on people's xenophobia.

To say they are all the exact same isn't accurate, as each company will use different flavours and that's what will ultimately decide how the product tastes (some flavourings will be of higher quality than others, i.e closer to the real thing), otherwise the chemicals used are the same (PG/VG).

At the end of the day, you generally get what you pay for, disregarding price differences for all EU/US juices for a moment...

    http://www.heaven-gifts.com/product-381.html

    http://www.heaven-gifts.com/product-381.html

Both of these are made by Dekang, however I'm assuming the more expensive one (joyetech) is using better quality flavours, some of the price difference is most likely due to better quality flavours, and the rest is for the bells and whistles (fancy packaging)

The same applies for the HG liquids on Heaven Gifts, you get 10ml for the price of 30ml of standard Dekang, I've personally tried these and their flavours were much closer to the real thing and far superior to any other standard Dekang brand I've tried.

    Double edit!

I'm not saying that EU/US manufactured juices can reasonably justify their RRP, but it's worth noting, there's a considerable price difference between certain juices in China also, I can't conclusively tell you why tbh, but from my experience they've tasted much better, each and every continent can produce quality e-liquid, but what they retail for, all depends on local production costs.

My first e-cig was a Screwdriver Mk11 which I loved, but then I switched to the Tornado Tank(same as ego tank) and I loved it so much the SD Mk11 was left in it's box for considerable lengths of time.
But I recently purchased a conversion kit (which allows me to attach tank attomizers to SD) for the Screwdriver which turned my Screwdriver into a tank, I would really recommend it to anyone, the battery life is fantastic and it's definitely the way to go if you are on a night out.

The silicon caps for the cartridges is a must also.

Thumbs up to Declan at ezsmoke.ie - very helpful by email, and quick shipping on the stuff I ordered from him.

I just lost yet another battery and broke two chargers, so decided to splash out on a new kit. I got his Ego DCC starter kit for 49.50 delivered. It consists of:

    2 - 3.7V (900mah) rechargeable batteries
    1 - atomizer cones
1 - USB wall adapter (with Irish /UK Plug / Adapter)
1 - USB eGo battery charger
    1 - pouch
    1 - Instruction manual
    1 - Derlin Drip Tip
    1 - 10ml Dekang Marlboro eLiquid
    5 - Dual Coil Cartomizers (1 pack of 5)

are they normal dcc's or are they the clears pictured?
i've held off on reccomending that kit to people because of the clears..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,263 ✭✭✭✭Eoin

    They're the ones pictured.

I didn't give them a great review earlier, but have gotten a bit more used to them. Like the Boge ones, you just can't put as much juice in them. The vapour production off them is nice, but a bit cooler than you'd be used to with the regular DCCs. It's not leaking now I've gotten used to just filling it up more often with less.

Still definitely going back to the stainless ones once TBS has them back in stock though. The Boge ones gave off a really burnt taste quite quickly.

yeah i did notice the dcc's held theirjuice a little longer than the boges, but I preferred the flavour of the boges enough that refilling a bit more often wasn't a deal breaker

got one of the biansi high voltage atomisers from irishvapers today

i remember someone on the forum said they got one a while ago but can't find the post to quote it, anyway im impressed
it holds quite a few drops and changes flavours well. I vaped some of my diy coconut until slight burnt taste (diy coconut btw is not reccomended) and after that i dripped 7 drops of my new irishvapers cullan juice.. no leaking
    7 drops!

draw is a little tighter than I prefer, but i find that tends to be the way with dripping atomisers. decent atties at any rate, and i think 4 euro a pop atm

    -edit

hah, maybe i was wrong. not even a days use and already its giving me weird performance. flavour is very muted, and i only get 2-3 drags before a burnt taste comes in.

I received my Throathit Twin 18650 variable mod this morning from Throathit on UKvapers http://ukvapers.com/topic/4828-throathit-twin-18650-variable-mod/

I knew it was good from researching it and looking at reviews but seriously this is an unbelievable piece of kit and I would recommend it to anyone. It feels so solid to hold and you can tell it was made with a lot of love.

It gives between 3V and 5.8V using the dial knob on top. The performance is excellent and it gives the voltage reading under load while vaping with the button pushed in, you just need to look down on the meter as you are vaping to see the indicator.

I've already tried it with a 1.5 ohm dual coil carto with tank at 4v with tobacco flavoured e-liquid and the throathit vapour and flavour are all great. I also tried it with a 3.0hm boge and a nice vanila/chocolate e-liquid at 4.5V with tank and it just performs brilliantly, the most satisfaction I've got since I started vaping.:D

It comes with 2 AW IMR 18650 batterys inside the bombproof case and just needs to be plugged in like a mobile phone to be charged. Going on other reviews I'm sure it will only need to be charged every 2 or 3 days and it can be used while in charging mode also.

I'm not going to say anything about the safety features as its all in the link above if anyone wants to know other than it does have a lot of protection built into it.

Here's a picture of it, I asked Throathit to change the usual red button to black and I also got him to relocate the 510 connection so I'd be able to use a tank on it.

yeah, i pretty much constantly have 1 battery on charge for the LT and while it's not that big an issue it is kind of annoying. although now that I have the rda and i'm making low ohm coils, I can drop the LT voltage down to under 4v and the battery life is improving. vaping boge 3ohm's at 5v I'd have just about reached the point where I want to change batteries when the green light on my charger would pop on, since I have the rda and am dropping voltages a bit I've been able to just unplug the charger when it goes green and leave it there for a few hours before I need to change.

also, i asked for a gunmetal finish on the throathit.. someone on the ukvapers thread put up a pic of theirs done gunmetal and it looks the ****ing business
