Do you know who The Roses played to when they were originally together? The pilled up working class, rough as ****, thats who. Most of you would have **** yourselves at the Empress. The Roses are not a stadium band, calls for the Aviva are laughable.

lol no they didn't... the vast majority of Roses gigs I attended in the 80's were full of mild mannered weed heads and students....

We would all love to see them in the o2, but It seems to be a larger venue tour thats being organised. I would just prefer the Aviva to Oxegen.

Seems like a lot are heading over. Ryanair flights are over €180 at the minute, will probably shoot up again tomorrow.

That's just rumoured at this stage isn't it? It's in The Sun and that's it. Will get gutted if they play Poxegen....

    Slane would be ideal imo.

Anyone know of a UK equivalent of Boards/music messageboard where I could try and swap my Sunday tickets for Saturday ones?

Doubt they'd put Slane on a Friday though.

Id also be surprised if they do 2 nights in the O2 London instead of doing an outdoor show

They sell out over 200K tickets in less than an hour and then go on to play Oxegen? Not a bleeding chance. This is their pension tour. If they do manage to to stay together for the world tour they'll be pocketing the money themselves rather than doing festivals, especially around the like likes of the UK and Ireland.

Aside from that list looking totally made up, I seriously doubt they'll play Slane, but if they do, I'd be shocked if it was on a Friday.

That couldn't be rite surely Slane wouldn't be on the same day as Oxegen or is Oxegen on earlier next year?

The Sunday gig isnt listed on that list so I reckon it is a fake one. Also I dont think Slane has ever been on a Friday.
