i wouldnt criticise peole who have children later on in life, i know loads of people do and they are perfectly happy, im just wondering why people who have children later in life dont get criticised and younger people do? just because you are over 30 doesnt mean you are automatically better educated, in a stable relationship or in perfect health!

But people who decide to have children later in life DO get criticised just as much, thats my point. I know many a midwife even who has made negative comments to prospective mothers because they are passed 35. My point is no matter what time you decide to have kids in life, its never going to be the 'right' time, but I think you should prepare yourself as much as possible, financially phsically and emotionally for parenthood. There are too many people, often young and unequipped, popping out kids without a second thought to the greater consequences it will have on their lives.
Very true! The time to hav kids is when you are financially and emotionally stable but things rarely work out the way you want, especially these days when the economy is so unstable and people find it hard to hold on to a job.

Anyway you can tell that OP doesn't have much life experience, because if you ask any woman they will tell you, that there drive for a career, education, travel and all that goes out the window when they have kids.

I really resent this comment, to be honest.

Well if you interpret it like that...

They're only that demanding for the first 2 years. then they learn how to amuse themselves for 10 to 15 minutes at a time.

Cos when you have kids you spend your life cleaning up **** and vomit instead of bettering yourself through work, education, travel, socialising and fun maybe

Theres a time for all that kids stuff - when youve given up and youve nothing better to do with your life!

At least it's human **** and vomit.

People who don't want to have kids often have a pet to keep them company and then a lot of time picking up animal excrement and cleaning up dog hair.

Letting a scumbag put his dick in you without protection is probably the stupidest decision a girl can possibly make.

It takes two sets of genes to create offspring and the result of the above situation would be that two people would be parents.

    Equal responsibility, I say.

You say that like it's better! I'd rather pick up after a non-human animal :D

I wanted to have children just after I married, initial problem was that every time I tried to get married everyone ganged up and wanted a huge party. Then at the ripe old age of 32 I was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer, I was facing loosing my fertility and more importantly my life...I got married soon afterwards and 2 years after diagnosis we decided to try for a baby which we lost...we lost several babies before we tried one more time as we knew that the baby would be due on a relatives birthday - he is just over 18 months and his sister is 4.5 months...I would love just one more but it would be hard from a health and finance perspective.

The point is, you do not know what life may throw at you, you have to grab it with both hands - I was incredibly lucky to have my children but I do not have the energy of my 20's - I met my husband young and regret not just eloping as we are having the happiest times of our lives so far with our children.

Ok ok ,maybe 28 would be the minimum,30-33 being a perfect age.

All these single mothers at 18-19 ,the majority of them didnt mean to get pregnant.

You have your school years, then third level education or you enter the job market and try to get yourself in a position to earn a living and forge a decent career for yourself, something that is very important.Having a child at such a young age puts these things on hold.

Growing up, its easy to tell which girls will have a child as soon as they get a chance, its usually the girls from the estates, the ones who wear PJs to the shop, the ones who come from single parent familys themselves, the ones who get a name as being easy,if you get what i mean.

Travel becomes near impossible or very hard at least, kids suck the life from you.

Every baby looks the same the first few weeks.

I love kids, but i also value my life and i wouldnt have a child until i am some way financially stable and have some direction in life.

If you want to move out of home and dont want to pay 150-200 a week on rent, have a child and the the social will give you a house, then proceed to allow the father/bf to live there with you,the entire county is doing this.
    :D

And I get accused of winding up.

I just can't get over the crass ignorance on this forum, I've never seen it before, it's never taking into account personal issues, jumps on every story to cast judgement on any people who do not meet their master race ideals. It's pathetic.

I had my child at 23, I'm 25 now, I went to college for the two years before she was born, traveled to most countries in Europe too. The only thing that has changed in my life really is I can't go out every night drinking and drugging, now I just drink twice a week, life is far better for me now, it's calmed me down and gave me focus, it has been an extremely positive experience for me and something I would never change, there's still nothing stopping me from doing more travel, with or without my kid, going and doing more college or 'furthering' myself in anyway.:)

I hope he enjoys his last year of childhood!

He's probably still getting childrens allowance for him too!

When still living in caves it made sense for women to have children early.
More chance of offspring reaching adulthood.

Thankfully, we live in an age where we all have a choice and with advances made as a race, the need to reproduce younger is not as essential.

Have them young, have them when you're older. The joys of the modern age. Yay!

I'm in my early 30s and not a parent. But people I know who had kids in their 20s don't seem to me to be people who feel that they missed out in life, on the contrary, they seem very happy about it. I don't feel like I missed out by not having kids before now. Everyone is different, and whatever plans you think you have for your life, fate / the universe/ whatever will have ideas of it's own and not everything will go perfectly to plan. Live and let live.

I've got to say too, a career is not the be all and end all. A job that pays the bills and provides the basis for a decent living is important, but my attitude is, a job is a job. You will not be on your death bed thinking "I wish I'd climbed higher up the career ladder" or "If only I had been a better employee for Corporation X"!

Speak for yourself. Had my child at 22, since travelled to over 80 countries. Took the kid along to a lot of them too. Not many 12 year olds been to Zimbabwe, I'd imagine. How many countries you been to, OP?

Sure sounds like you love kids. Guess what, OP? I'm financially stable, have a direction in life and because I had kids young, soon I'll be entirely free from childcare while the rest of ye are still up to your oxters in dirty nappies. Roll on freedom, having a pint with the offspring, travelling the world and enjoying my life.

Oh, piss off, seriously. Plenty of people have kids young. They're not all welfare queens. 'The social' won't just 'give you a house' for having a child. I know, I have a child!

Some people want to spend their 20s doing things for themselves and they have every right to do that.

Others prefer to spend their 20s rearing a family and they're equally free to do that.

It all boils down to personal priorities because the reality is that there are pros and cons to having children at any age.

Its not really, just making a joke in her first sentence and then repeating it for every sentence after that.

No problem with what OP says, I'd agree with him to an extent, but I dont think he said anything offensive, if people are happy with having kids early, no problem. He was stating his opinion on the negative things it could bring. He also stated HIS opinion on when he would have kids. Nothing wrong with OP's post, but of course some will jump with the claws out and pj's on :pac:

My mother had me when she was 19, and raised me from 3 years old as a single parent, she came from a respectable family, not scumbags, and she certainly wasn't stupid. Contraception can, will and has failed, and not just for "stupid" people. I am now 22, have a degree, a good job, and I look after myself. My mother has been with her partner for 17 years, they now live in Australia and have a life set up for themselves. She has a good job, is financially stable, and owns our home, has paid off the mortgage. My mother never regrets anything and I would almost say she prefers it this way, as she has the rest of her life to live in comfort and financial stability, she has seen me to adulthood, I never wanted for anything, and she can now relax instead of spending this time looking after me and raising me. OP, don't tar everyone with the same brush. Until you've been in that position yourself you have absolutely no right to judge. Get a grip and come down of your high horse, no one is perfect!

This is all being done BY DESIGN.

The elite have implemented feminism in order to break up the family unit. Feminism makes women want to be whores. men do not want to stay with a whore, so this results in their being many single mothers. Then the government steps in as the father and provides housing and money. This is done because women are much easier to manipulate than men. Removing the father from the household means the elites are free to indoctrinate the children from birth. Free to corrupt their brains with liberal poison via the jew-box, to ensure each generation becomes even more hopeless.

I don't know where to start with this. I hope you're a troll, because otherwise this is an example of immense stupidity.

I wonder if the OP cares to share their thoughts on the 'scumbags' who get pregnant but choose to get an abortion instead. I say fair played to any young woman who makes the selfless decision to put aside their youth in order to raise a child. Tbh if I found out I was pregnant before I hit my 20s, I wouldn't have the courage to go through with it.

Edit: nevermind Sexter, judging from your past posts, it's obvious you simply hate women in general
