Tesco Mobile Bill Pay Now launched

Hi Paul,

I was just checking the international price plans there on the site.

If I get a Pay as you go phone, it will cost me 0.02 to call china/hong kong.

Is there any other charge involved or is it really as good as it seems?

No connection charges or hidden charges - international calls can't be made from bonus credit would be the only caveat.

Same international rates apply for Pay Monthly also.

No, bonus credit or data bundles don't come over to Pay Monthly but your paid for credit does

I signed up for the €16 plan online and my laser card was charged €26!

I did not think you could do that when I only agreed on the website to you taking €16!

Sorry my mistake!!!
It was a different charge for another Tesco product I bought on the same day that was €26!

The €16 Tesco mobile charge has only just appeared....

Is it just me, or is there no unlimited plans?

Can see 75€a month for 1000 mins, anything to match threes 90a month fir unlimited texts/mins/data with 5000 mins included to call UK mobiles?

Using mobile here, that website not ideal for Web browsing via phone.

Thanks Paul, I misread it at 1000, instead of 10,000.
That's, dare I say it, unbeatable value!

Any included mins to UK numbers (mobile) a lot of my businesses is in UK.

If it does, i'm changing pretty dam quickly!

No but our international rates are very competitive as you will see from our website. In fact UK landlines are on promotion at 1c per minute presently. This promotion is likely to be extended.

Are Tesco mobile ever considering the use of Blackberry phones on there network,i cant see how difficult it could be to do this and im a bit miffed that they dont

With capped monthly plan, If i top by €10 every month by direct debit and at the end of the month i only use half of the €30 credit, will that €15 be carried over or will it start from new again?

The price of the phones on a 12 month contract are very expensive. For example the Galaxy S2 is €300 on the €75 a month package for 12 months. The same phone is only €40 on meteor with the same package (data is less than Tesco but 1GB is still loads). Even on meteors cheapest plan of €25 a month the phone is only €189 which is a lot cheaper than Tesco.
