    Anyone read Meltzer's Vale Tudo article? Not an original opinion at this stage but it probably one of the very best things he has ever written. He wasted his life covering Wrestling.

    {Insert a veiled shot at the MMA section here}

    ha ha, Todd Pettingill. I remember him, i thought he was Vince's son. He had the same phoney american candor! Synonymous with the pre-attitude era for me :)

    Not bad at all! Wonder if they will play their group stage matches in Tallaght or the Aviva?

    Fair play to Shamrock Rovers,glad some teams are doing well in the Europa League there isn't a lot of money in the Europa League but it would be a lot for a Irish club though.
    Bellamy being linked with a return to liverpool hmmmm...don't know what to make of that better than N'gog anyway. I'm fairly happy this Coates guy is coming in after seeing him do so well in the industrious Uruguay side that won the Copa. Poor Aquaman is gone ;-( I wanted to see him at least be given a chance this year & it looks like Galliani got a great deal for AC for him

    well done to rovers. hope the draw is harsh to you tomorrow though speaking as a derry city fan as i want the league.

    on a serious note this is one hell of an achieverment fo SR and the LOI in general. I've been saying for a few years this league is better than 95% of what Scotland has to offer and tonight in many ways may be a tipping point. also why are people saying the games should be at the aviva? if Otelul Galati can play utd in front of 13,000 in romania sr's matches should be in tallaght as they'd be atmospheric and intimidating. teams wouldn't worry about plaing at the aviva

    They're not allowed play in Galati, moved to Bucharest. Rovers will have to use the Aviva or possibly the RDS.

    Any estimates what this is worth to the club?

    They get a million from UEFA for getting to the group stages. It's 120k for a win and 60k for a draw in the group stages. Add in the gate and merch at the games and Rovers could make at least 3 mil from this

    Just in the door and havn't been to the soccer boards yet but is that confirmed?

    EDIT: uefa.com is saying Dublin Arena, guess that means Aviva Stadium.

    I'm proud of our neck of the woods on boards. We tend to run really smoothly with a relaxed atmos. After Hours requires a lot of modding. I don't envy the mods there!

    I got it. That is to say that I rented it. And I am dam glad I didn't pay 44.99 for that copy and pasted crap.
    Its near the exact same as the games produced as EA a few years ago. Players only vaguely look like who they are supposed to be, the ai still barrels after the ball like a bunch of children.
    I was a little optimistic when I started playing because I kinda liked the old ps2 games. But honestly it seems like they have gone a fair distance backwards.
