Additionally, Filipino Champ has been Tweeting about the list giving insight on characters that are in the mid to low range.

Filipino Champ: About the tier list I didn't really bother placing the other characters from mid tier to low tier... cause they are gonna be irrelevant in the future.

Only top 20 matters Low tier only wins when the game is early ..... its all about the High tier - Top tier

Regardless how good you use a character if he is low tier you aint gonna win a tournament but you can get top 32 or top 16 on a good day






i won't be surprised if we start seeing a lot more Vergils during this Evo season...

as in EVERY team has one, like Sentinal in MvC2. currently its like 3 out of 5 teams has him imo.

Not every good team in MVC2 had Sentinel.

yeah i know, that was a bit of an exaggeration on my part but it did feel that way in MvC2 since most teams consisted of these 4 characters on point or 2nd...

Magneto, Storm, Sentinal, Cable. then of course the good assist characters such as Cyclops, Psylocke, C.Commando, Dr Doom.

as it is now, MvC3 defiantly has more variety than MvC2 in its last years... but i can see it eventually going down that path as well.

anyway, like many people, im still hoping for some kind of ver.2013 patch or something to make lesser characters more viable and therefore increase the variety. so tired of Sword Loops.

While I completely refuse to ditch my team, I'm starting to see the futility of learning any characters other than broken morridoomgil ones with infinites etc as far as UMvC3 is concerned.

I definitely hope Capcom make another update/game to shake things up though, because "high level" Marvel's getting hella boring.

I really hope that they do patch the game, because I'm very late to the party, and I've always had an aversion to picking top tier characters purely for the sake of winning. I generally pick characters I have an attachment to, like Lythero over there.

That said, Morrigan, Zero and Vergil are among those characters, so yeah. ^^

There will be top tier characters with much better stuff than the characters you like whether they patch the game or not, if you want to play it just play it now imo.
