This Sunday there is an event at The Fight Factory.

Sammy D will be defending his Irish Junior Heavyweight Championship against Johnny Notaro. Team Mega will be defending their Irish Tag Team Championships against Rough Stuff and The team of 'Dangerous' Dave Forde the Limerick thug and Big Ger the 6 foot seven bush beast. The show will also feature Irelands most entertaining 'wrestler' B-Cool, Captain Deadbones Dawkins, Manic McDermot, Pierre Marceau and The Fight Factory Femme Fatales Katey Harvey, Lucy Lasso and Dawn O'D.

The biggest news is the return of Rebecca Knox who will be competeng on the night. K-Nox was one of the most internationally known Irish wrestlers at one time but had to bow out due to injury. She is now back training at the Fight Factory and considering a major comeback. Here is an article from Ringbelles all about Rebecca.

How did the show go last nite in Bray? Sounded like a great one. Was gonna go up but the weather was just SOOooo lousy. Don't suppose it will be out on DVD or anything?

  • Registered Users Posts: 116 ✭✭NLW_Info

Results from Bray, Co Wicklow last night:

Johnny Notaro defeated "All Star" Anthony Idol, "Dangerous" Dave Forde and Manic McDermot in a 4 way

In an all Spanish 3 Way, Angelnaut defeated 'The Ace of Spades' and La Pulga

Irish Junior Heavyweight Champion Sammy D beat Sean South by DQ

Philly The Kid successfully defended the NWA UK Hammerlock Title against B-Cool

Irish Tag Team Champions Team Mega defeated 'The Stuff' Paul Scarfe & Jackie Polo to retain the titles

Robbie Morrissey entered the ring with the Irish Heavyweight Title, which Paul Tracey has held, but hasn't defended for 3 Years. He re-named the title the Zero-1 Ireland Title, and challenged Tracey to defend it. Tracey accepted the challenge, but fell short in the match. Morrissey defeated Paul Tracey to become the first Zero-1 Ireland Heavyweight Champion.

Big Hangovers, Jordan Devlin & Shawn Maxer (or Frank David & Sean Guiness as they are known in Japan) defeated Joe and Mark Coffey (representing Scotland) in the Main Event to retain the NWA International Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles.

I couldn't get anyone to come along for the road trip with me, so had to give it a miss because I didn't feel capable of navigating the length of the country in that weather. Will you guys bring Chris Chavis over for a tour sometime? I was talking to him on Twitter there recently.
