We, the Fighting Games Community Ireland, are hosting a qualifying tournament for the event with a first prize of flights to Las Vegas and entry to the event! The main tournament will be SSF4. For some clarity. The aim here is to send the best person to Evo from the community. The best way to ensure the fairest outcome for that is to seed the groups/pools. The seeding will use a combination of inferno results for the last year and also reputation for players who maybe haven't played in inferno.

For example, if Daigo shows up (I sent him an invite), then he will be a top seed along with the other top players from inferno. I cannot yet say how many groups there are as I will only know that on the day so I don't yet know the size of the groups/pools and how many people will go through from them. I would suspect though that no matter what group/pool you have, it'll damn hard to get out of it.

I will be as fair as I can in this - I want a good tourney/event, but in the end my decision on any given 'seed' option will be final on the day. Has to be that simple and direct cause this is going to be a busy day and I can't see seeding decisions being contentious......... lets hope I'm not wrong.

@Owwmykneecap - thanks for your opinion and although I know where you are coming from cause no seeding might even mean I get an 'easier' group, (although, given the level of play recently and the people going - Ich don't think so) I think this way is the way to go -> Best player to Evo = Seeding the groups/Pools

I definitely have another guy coming with me but due to having another sprogg last week, he hasn't gotten round to registering yet so make that 51.

Also, forgive my dumbassedness but what does MEP stand for?
