zuroph, not to gush but fair play for organising all this, if the council was as bothered about doing something like this for the city as regular joes are then this town would be much better off.

Can you imagine the confusion in city hall if somebody stood up and proposed a Zombie Festival?

To be fair to the city and the communications office, even though we missed the deadline for festival application this year, they have come out to cover our insurance and paid for our press launch also. If this year is a success, we'll make a great application to make next year huge!!

Took part in a prep event of sorts for the festival tonight. I am seriously so excited for this. 940 attending via good ole Facebook so far but the shock and dismay of many other bystanders will be well worth it. Limerick/Ireland really needed some proper good fun.

Just want to get the opinion of those involved in organising. Do you think it would be frightening for a young baby? He is 18 months old. Wife thinks he would be, I disagree. We are involved with the CBS pipe band and I was hoping to dress him up in his uniform and get his face painted as a Zombie!

Anyway, seeing as I assume ye have seen the makeup involved do ye think it would frighten a toddler?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,097 ✭✭✭✭zuroph

I terrified a child at the Newstalk interview with tom dunne, but if you introduce it as a game, surely he'd be ok :) are the pipe band coming? someone rang me from them, but i heard no more.

Yeah I am pretty sure the band are coming along. That said I am not the person in charge so dont quote me! I will ask Barry, the guy in charge, to contact ye if you want?
