Well, if it's not joke, then somebody definitely needs to see the inside of a prison cell.

Does anybody have friends who are a couple. I have two friends and they talk to each other on Facebook.

They live together sit beside each other and talk about their plans on one of their homepages with people joining in. Literally having a full blown conversation for everybody to see.

I don't know if it's attention seeking or what but it bugs the sh!t out of me.

The single biggest bugbear for me on facebook, couples living their relationship through it.

The problem is once they start they don't seem capable of reining it in.

Sure wry would they ever stop? Aren't we all totally excited and delighted to see what goes on within their four walls

"Just so everyone on my friends list knows that I completed this and I am done! Facebook has changed their privacy settings once more!! Due to the new "graph app" anyone on facebook (including other countries ) can see your pictures, likes & comments.
The next 2 weeks I will be posting this, and please once you have done it please post DONE!!! Those of you who do not keep my information from going... out to the public, I will have to DELETE YOU!
I want to stay PRIVATELY connected with you. ....however....I post shots of family that I don't want strangers to have access to! This happens when friends click "like" or "comment"....automatically, their friends would see our posts, too.

Unfortunately, we cannot change this setting by ourselves because Facebook configured it that way.

PLEASE place your mouse over my name above (DO NOT CLICK), a window will appear, now move the mouse on "FRIENDS" (also without clicking), then down to "settings", click on settings and a list will appear. REMOVE the CHECK on "LIFE EVENTS" "PHOTOS" and "COMMENTS & LIKES". By doing this, my activity among my friends and family will no longer become public.

Now, copy & paste this on your wall. Once i see this posted on your page, I will do the same"

^^This is all over my newsfeed today :(

Used the word 'terrorists' twice. That's definitely got some flashing red lights at the NSA.

    From the same guy:

"This may sound far-fetched, but I assure you all that it is not. I am considering preparations to plan a run for Washington State Governor. This is a stepping stone on an eventual run for Office of the President of the United States of America.

Thankfully we live in a great country where this is completely possible; where an average American citizen who wishes to make a change can submit his or her bid for the office, and, providing that they are able to obtain the support and backing of their community and others with similar views, can indeed realize this goal.

Many of you know what I stand for; you've been friends and believers for years, offering me support, feedback and guidance. You've told me that you believe that I have the good of the nation and the world in my heart. That I am sincere, dedicated, honest and optimistic. To you I say thanks for motivating me and not giving up on our mutual vision for a better society.

Many of you do not know what I stand for; but you too will soon be informed. In the near future I will be writing up a long article outlining my stances on issues such as education reform, the economy, science, technology and the environment. Woman's rights, abortion and immigration. Foreign policy. Small businesses. The welfare system. Healthcare and more.

What I need from you is to believe. To believe that we can make a change. The understanding that we are on the wrong path and that only we can make the change. I need your support, your eyes and ears, and your mouths and hands to spread the word. I need your faith. And I need your feedback. This is likely the most important of them all. I need to know what is important to YOU as citizens (or inhabitants) of this great United States of America.

I will provide a method for this feedback to be presented. Likely, there will be a website soon on which I will cover all of these issues in a structured and detailed manner. I will provide a means for you to give me your feedback and to ask the feedback of your fellow man/woman. The only way we can make a change for the better is to work together as a people, and it starts right here. Right now.

So for my first request to you my friends, if you support this dream and are willing to back me in this endeavor, I would greatly appreciate a simple "Like" on this status.

    Thank you"

Person 1: better win the powerball

OP: while I appreciate that campaigns require a great deal of funds, winning the lottery is not the only way to achieve this. The way to get funding is to stand for the things that people believe in. Those who care sincerely and are able to donate monetarily, will. In time, as the word spreads, funding increases. Correct use of those funds is critical.

If that is your real attitude, you deserve to freakin be single until you can realize that you've friend zoned all the decent guys that you know because they are not "seexxxxxyyy". Well guess what? The "seeeexxxyy" guys are usually vein as hell because they have nothing ELSE to go on but their appearance. They don't care about you. They care about themselves. And if that is the kind of guy you are going for, expect to keep getting hurt - over, and over and over. Once you realize that there are some perfectly good looking, no, not drop dead gorgeous, but good looking guys out there who will actually treat you right, and once you have the "balls" to admit that, THEN you deserve to be happy"

I hate this idea of being 'friendzoned', it doesn't exist.
Two people have never been attracted to each other, available to each other, wanted to be with each other and have ended up not getting with each other.
It just doesn't happen, they don't just decide to be friends despite all this..which I think is what most lads seem to think has happened.

If they were interested then you'd know.
Otherwise you are just a friend, not a potential boyfriend or fling, yes..Men and Women being friends, insanity I know, but it happens.

Also, the good looking guys are vein? Sheesh..hardly a bit harsh, and extremely bitter.

This whole status might as well have read "Women, can you all please lower your standards so I have a chance"

It's amazing but in one short sentence it manages to reinforce every stereotype of people on housing lists in Ireland. Ernest Hemingway would have wept at the beauty of its succinct brevity.
