Give us a clue on location!

Not raining here but it's a damp sort of a day.

Update: Oops! It's raining now in Dublin.

Has it been raining all day?

No it stopped at 10 this morning but stayed dull
Unreal rain now since about 3
In the last 3 hrs,22mm has fallen, thats nearly an inch in 3 hrs,its roaring down the yard
Radar shows a clearance only about 10 miles south but the rain is sliding and tilting on the radar so that clearance is staying to the south and we're getting the rain
Rain rate now at 40mm/hr on the Davis recorder here, thankfully I'm in out of it
Just to add its falling as Snow high on the hills above us,above about 1500 ft
    This is East Wicklow

I left NCD at 3ish to drop youngest back to Galway and it was a pleasant drive with no rain. Hit rain near Lucan (M6) on the way back and it is heavy with sleet. Lots of surface water and floods on the roads so take care if you are out and about tonight.

Bit nippy alright but a nice sunny day. I see snow on the Dublin/Wicklow mountains.

jaysus, a woolly hat in January. :). tis cold compared to the mild Nov and Dec but we are a good bit off worrying about frozen pipes and such.

It was -2 around here. You know it's bad when you're doing 40kph and oncoming drivers are waving at you to slow down.

Jesus, roads are lethal enough around here this morning...

I was out earlier and it seemed ok, but it seemed to freeze again between 6 and 7, and then rain on top of it...

Frosty and now snowing, roads are "interesting"

Gritting yard is across the road from us for our area, saw the lorry coming back to yard around 9am this morning, not much use to those travelling earlier.

2 degrees here in wexford. Nice dry calm day here today although it's gone very windy here in the last few hours. Some drying out. Neighbours here are getting out the slurry. They say that we might get a dusting of snow tonight but if it does happen that's all it'll be. After that it looks like the dry weather continues for another 5 days at least on yr.no anyway.
