Snow and hail stones bucketing down here in Drogheda. Easily 4-5 inches on open ground! I've never seen this much snow in Ireland before.

Are you mad?? In Castleknock and Blanch last Decmeber to Januray 12 we have tons of the stuff - over 8 inches/20cm of lying snow and the year before...Dubshaughlin must have missed that.

This IOF shadow is incredibly frustrating for a snow lover but fascinating from a weather perspective. I can see northern streamer out the front window, blue skies & sunshie right over Donabate & huge clouds from southern streamer out the back window

Unusual for Drogheda or Louth to be getting hit although for many parts of Dublin and Wicklow this is quite common. ENJOY:D:D

I'm in the D18 area and I think the car temp read about 0 degrees a short while ago. Don't know if that helps though!?

Could I just remind people if you have old or infirm neighbors could you just check in on them (if you can get out yourself) see if they need anything, its great for us but can be not very good for them

yup- piggin it down in Deansgrange on the other side of the hill too. But ground temps still seem high enough to restrict serious buildup ? Cars moving ok.
