I wish my boyfriend could get time off work to come to my home county over Christmas, not even for Christmas Day, just to come down at all.

He works in retail so Christmas is chaotic, he'll be working til 8 Christmas Eve, and this year he has another job too, so I'll probably go home the week before for about two weeks, otherwise I'd just be sitting on my own here all the time

I'd like New Zealand to magically move in space to be closer to Ireland, say where the canaries are so I could go home for a third of the cost and a sixth of the time - then I could go home for Christmas.

I am actually going to South Africa for Christmas and new year. I've just booked a safari and all. So I'd like a South African diamond for Christmas from my OH, preferably in ring form, although I'll take what I can get!
