Nacewa and the front 5 (particularly second row and tight-head) are the only areas we need imports.

We still need a long term solution in second row though, and I don't know where that's going to come from. Toner, Flanagan, Browne, maybe somehow sign Caldwell and then a top quality NIQ with McLoughlin able to cover would be decent options in squad.

Touch wood squad is coming back together nicely towards the end of this season now. Just hope they can hit the ground running ahead of Ospreys, Munster & Cardiff, and those games all going well, hopefully we can kick on from there with momentum to carry us into the end season shoot outs.

caldwell would never and should never be signed. complete loose cannon. would just bring trouble even though hes very talented

    There are Red weights

    This should not be :D

They are competing against the weights. The Red is the enemy. They must overcome the Red :D

He used to be. Was most definitely on the path to righteousness until the other week when got sucked into getting binned in first 5 mins.

Nothing wrong with having a bit of manic about you. Nathan Hines is one of the dirtiest players ever to wear blue, and we all miss him!

Meh no power cages is a bit disappointing, hate those sort of racks

Nathan Hines was a leader and a gentleman off the field though. Possibly couldn't be a bigger contrast to Caldwell off the field.

Penalty count is way, way down and has one yellow card this season for Bath in about 25 games already. He's been their player of the season. Absolutely the sort of bloke that the provinces should be looking at. Big, physical, comfortable with the ball in hand. We produce practically none of his sort. He shouldn't be playing in England.

Jack McGrath captain? With Ruddock in the team too...

    Odd I would've thought.

Wonder how many members of that Connacht 'A' team thought they would be playing against Brad Thorn at some point in their career.

McGrath is the A teams captain.

He will be caotaining them in the B&I Cup so no point changing having anyone else given this is a warm up for that.

That Leinster A back five of the scrum would put it up to most Pro12 equivalents, very strong.

I'm assume Thorn is playing in the 'A' game so he can be familiarised with the Leinster set-up. Either that or Leinster just want to have the craic with Connachts second row.

Could be a bit of a massacre tomorrow.

Is that even possible? There are certain laws of the universe, I believe this is one.

How different is this team to the possible B&I Final team?

Would imagine one of the back-row will be kept as cover for the seniors, probably one of the props as well but otherwise yeah, this could be very close to the A team for the semi.

Part of me is convinced that Thorn will go down with injury at some point in this match.

Generally when both games are at home the injury cover plays the A game unless there's a genuine injury concern. Last season Harris Wright was even on the bench for the heineken cup and playing A games the night before!

Bah, why does this have to be on at 3pm? I'll be stuck in work. Doubt it'll be televised?
