Sorry lads, it was 6% not 4% over a 25 year period acording to this

So 6% not 4% over the last 25 years, but still nowhere near the 99% that was initaly mooted as fact

I thought this was about worldwide terrorist attacks?

It is not 4% nor is it 6%

    Use this tool
    https://wits.nctc.gov/FederalDiscoverWITS/index.do?N=0

    Here's the 2009 report
    http://www.nctc.gov/witsbanner/docs/2009_report_on_terrorism.pdf

and this taken from the report

When you say 'another' one, you mean 'the same one as was posted on the other thread'?

By the way, why not be even more specific and focus only on terrorist bombings in Ulster in the last decade? Surely that will prove that there's no Islamic terrorism at all? :pac:

Look your figures are Bullsh!t because they dont include the Terror bombings and Shootings perpetrated by the NATO Forces in the Middle East, They also dont count The Israeli Terrorisim, Basicly your data is flawed as it makes the prepestorous assumption that 'Westernised' forces are not engaged in Terrorisim

Don't make me laugh. When was the last time that US or UK forces deliberately targeted civilians? Dresden? Hiroshima?

If you want to debate the definition of terrorism, I'll see you on the politics board or some other forum where it's relevant. As it is, I'm happy working with the usual definition of terrorism that everyone else uses.

Drone attacks on Weddings would be one that springs to mind

that colatteral Murder Video would be another

but no you stick to the Narrow definition of

Its not Terrorisim if our side does it

I don't have a side in the Iraq War. And mistakes are not the same as terrorism. Please feel free to link to any attacks that fit the accepted definition of terrorism, deliberately targetting the civilian population.

So your gonna tell me that the Carpet bombing of Baghdad was done in such a way as to only strike 'Legitimate' Targets

Its just to do with classification.

What the Russians did to the Chechens was absolutely one-sided and horrific, but it can be classified as war or a war-crime, not terrorism.

There should be separate stats for war-crimes, and potential war-crimes (inc. UK, US, etc) on the net.

The general consensus is that terrorism are acts that deliberately target civilian population.

Incidents of "Collateral" Murder (a horrible concept) are by it's nature not terrorism.

Historians are going to be pretty surprised at how many acts of "terrorism" happened during the battle of Carthage with this definition change ;)

Ed2Hand you probably shouldn't be thanking people who are being sarcastic to you.

For all these apparent attempts to create Islamaphobia, the vast majority of religious hate crimes in the US are against Jews
