got the phone, very nice & smaller than expected :)

only annoying thing so far is the "smudginess" of the screen from fingers

I love this phone. I just saw a great bargain in Tesco, photographed it, edited the white balance in PicSay, uploaded it to my FTP with AndFTP, and posted it on boards in a matter of minutes.

How compatible are these with Mac OS x ? Had a Htc Touch Diamond when they were first out and it was a nightmare doing rom updates etc

€599 and €7.95 shipping is some price alright, could get a good laptop for that price.

Jaysus. I bought mine direct from Google in the US (since I'm over here for a while) and my credit card was billed only €375 in the end. That was just before the euro took a dip against the dollar though.

Was in an O2 shop today and asked when are they getting the Nexus one and your man said the middle of March, I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.

The builtin quickoffice displays PDFs just fine, although it does not support pinch to zoom, while the browser and maps do. Flash will be available soon.

out of the 5 pdf files i tried using that quickoffice it only worked with 1

rather diabolical success rate, and of course no easy way of zooming in and out

great phone, but im rather disappointed with this

maybe once flash player for android is released would be able to use the likes of scribd to read documents

tried viewing pdf files thru google docs pdfmenot.com tool but of course their site doesnt work in nexus's browser (well it loads but the page is clipped and none of the links work)

    bleh :(

Nexus One spotted on O'Connell St ten minutes ago. Own up :D

Ha, there are 1500+ (think its more like 1700+) Google employees in Dublin that got Nexus One phones in December from Google for free - so I would expect to see a good few folks in Dublin that have them :)

Ah, really? And yet we don't have a proper marketplace and navigation :(

i dont see why anyone should fork out anything on something as basic as pdf reading especially after spending half a grand on a phone

right now ill settle to converting pdf documents to djvu, and using that

in the hope that better free app comes along or flash support is completed

Anybody know where I might get a nice dock for the Nexus One. The official one seems a bit steep and not easy to get. Anything on E-bay looks a bit cat. Any suggestions appreciated...
