Not sure if it's been posted previously but does anyone know of an app that lets you see what apps/progs are using up data? Is there one that does it live?

I installed mapdroid and it works very well - like the nokia ovi maps.

Caveat is, it doesn't do navigation, or have the "places" such as petrol station, cinema etc built in.

does mapdroid give directions turn by turn???

Are there any decent paid apps worth getting?

Ordered a UK simcard that came today. Popped it in and paid apps were available for purchase, but then I realised there wasn't really anything I wanted to buy.

    That happened me too. :(

    They are pretty expensive.

New IMDb (Internet Movie Database) app available on the marketplace. Handy for settleing pub movie arguments.

Great app. Actually a much better layout than the actual website!

Not that I can see. There might be other applications that can do it. I've only messed about with mapdroid.

Try use slideme's app store. You should be able to find it in the android app store under sam. As far as i am aware you can get paid apps through there. If that fails. Apply for a free english sim card or root the phone.

Unfortunately, it's not on the slideme market either. You'll have to either get your hands on a UK sim card, which will allow you to access paid apps on a WiFi connection, or root your phone and install the MarketEnabler app

Most of the apps can be found up there (4shared.com).....

Also AppBrain is a great place for apps! I found Dazzle Configurable Switcher up there last night. Finally a widget with an Airplane on\off toggle switch!!

    ePub.

But their website says "lit, pdf, mobi, rtf, txt, html, fb2, prc**, odt, cbr and cbz, you can use a free software called Calibre to convert any of the above formats to ePub"

I use Droid Comic Viewer to read .cbr files. Works great.

Aldiko is best for books though.

It is called Dublin Traffic Cameras, doesn't really help with traffic updates. And on rainy days, the pictures are not the best

Here simple question but how do I increase the ringing timeframe before it goes to voicemail? I rarely answer a phone in 9 seconds.
