    The clue is in title of the recipe.

    Paddy and Red.
    Paddy whiskey, red lemonade.

    Jemmie and Red.
    1 measure Jameson, and add lemonade to taste.

    But it's this "to taste" nonsense I don't like. I need a precise measurement. And some sort of blind taste test. Then we could graph the information and conclusively prove at what point the flavour peaks. I love graphs.

    Vodka is only palatable straight from the freezer while Whiskey is a man's drink and can be served in any weather and always be delicious and manly.

    Dear lord don't drink Paddys. Jameson is great stuff. Mix it half and half with red. You want it to keep some edge.
    Jack Daniels is the best to drink straight. I'd never mix it. Just take it easy and enjoy it.

    I don't like vodka. It creeps up on you like a ninja midget. Before you know what's happening you've just lost three hours of your life. ****ing blackouts. I can drink any other spirit and have a good night without getting too locked but vodka is just rank.

    There is such thing as a vodka snob as well!

    A good vodka should be clear of all flavour, especially that "ew, alcohol" flavour.

    When it come to taste, you can't graph it. My taste is vastly different to yours, for example, i drown JD in coke, but only a splash in Jameson.

    JD and coke,fantastic.Wont go near the beer in clubs now,I feel much better in the morning with 5 JDs in me than if I had 5 beers.I wouldent mind being branded a 60 year old man the rest of my life as long I had my JAck keeping me company,the only friend I need.
