There was a line on the Independents website (im nearly sure this was where I saw it) around the time of Slane that Noel was due to play an acoustic gig in Dublin in December....anyone heard anything about that?

my mates mate works in the bar and was telling us a few weeks ago that this was going on. I havnt heard anything since tho

No need for another thread on it, it's being discussed here.

Can't believe nobody's mentioned it yet. Does anybody know where Tom Jones is playing? That'd be sweet sure he's the biggest name on the list. I would imaging he's playing in the Storehouse but are the Storehouse acts playing anywhere after that?

    Wouldn't mind seeing Kasabian too.

As above, €17.59 to tie in with the year Arthur Guinness signed his lease, of course poor old Aurthur didn't factor in the ticketmaster charge to bring them up to just off €20.

Should be good night in the city, I'm off to Whelans myself, unless I'm lucky enough to be heading to the Storehouse to see Kasabian.

Are tickets sold out for definite?

The ticket company who are dealing with the event really irritate me: "Tickets are not on sale"- it should say "Sold Out" or "Available". I am uncertain as of now because I have heard that more tickets are being released- so I am unsure, thanks to that company (which will remain nameless, due to the Boards.ie rules, I believe) if they will be on sale again soon.
