    Eh lads, what is the point in having 30 heads down? Tbh, this should be for 22 boards and ex boards players. Then add people in if we needed it. We're gonna have a league full of players down their at this rate.

    agreed. though im sure some lads who are not known to us wont show. ill be there but looks like my knee is f*cked after tues nite so i wont be playing perhaps :(. bad time of the year to get injured, we have a cup q-final at 2.30 and ill prob miss that too :(

    Gav said Mallet will be playing but I don't see him in the list......that's Clayton to the rest of you!

    Gav will get back onto Collie Murphy and see if he can make it or if he's working - I think he fits the bill as a quality player that would improve the squad so the gaffer should get a chance to cast the eye over him.

    Difficult situation this - we don't want to turn away people that piped up to play when it looked like the numbers were down but it'd also be a pity to miss an opportunity to have a look at players who want to try out to get into the squad especially with the next season starting so soon after this one.

    As this is kicking off at 12 and I have something on in town at 9 which might take a couple of hours, I'd be pushing it to guarantee I could make it on time. Since you guys are well sorted for players I might aswell take my name off and let you run the eye over guys interested in playing for the side next season.

    dont rule me out of anything please. ive already ditched the crutches so im hoping to be ok. swelling is gone done and if it continues to improve, then im not going to get it looked at tomorrow as i had planned.

    is anyone organising the "other" team? I'm not sure if part of the exercise is that we should be running round like headless chickens to make Boardeaux look good, but I'd like us to at least be competitive. Even just picking a starting 11/positions/substitutions, it's not going to work well just by consensus.

    The Chopper did a very good job managing poker forum teams before imo. If he's OK with it and there's no one who knows all the other players better I'd like to nominate him for player/manager.
