What scares you...

    What really scares you?

Most interesting, what really freaks you out that doesn't necessarily freak others out? What do you find spookiness in that other's dont?

Orestes has Return to Oz, pclip has the "belly gonna get you" ad.

I have hospitals, was quite sick as a child in the 80's and saw some strange nasty things. I to this day find it hard to stay in one.

    Ankle socks? Can understand.

    Piers? YORE WEIRD!

Unless It's that Piers Morgan guy, he is spooky in a freaky way.

    I'm not weird, I'm special!
    :)

Agree with you about Piers Morgan though. I reckon he looks more and more plastic looking every time I see him on TV.

Walking into a dark room and finding someone just standing there staring.
Or putting on the light and feeling a hand already on the switch.
Or looking out the window and someone outside just staring blankly in.
Or sometimes just looking behind me or opening my eyes when i'm alone and seeing someone there.

Worst fear is dead normal; heights - holy jesus do they scare me. After that - velvet (bizzarrely) gives me the willies - not total fear but that same horrid feeling some people get when hearing high pitched screeching sounds (like nails on a board or knife on a plate). Finally, years of watching horror movies as a kid with my ma (my girlfriend was subject to this as well) - I have a bit of a fear of walking into dark rooms.. thats more or less it

Would agree with that. One of the scariest things I remember was watching my younger brother messing in a forklift, just driving it around at speed. And he managed to flip it on its side. For the 2 minutes, before I got to the forklift, I was terrified I had watched him seriously injure or possibly kill himself.

Can't remember anything off-hand that happened to me to come close to that feeling of fear.

Sometimes I think we feel that we have all the time in the world to talk to the people we care about so we put off making that phone call or meeting for lunch and then one day, time's up. And there's no changing the finality of it. There are no extra minutes or seconds left to cram in all the things you really want them to know. And those things left unspoken get added to the pile of regrets.

The best thing to do is spend time wisely. Life often has other ideas and can whip the carpet out from under you and you never see it coming. So I don't put off telling the people I love that I love them, that I'm proud of them, that my life is better because they are in it. :)
